It is located in the southeast of Pucheng County, Fujian Province, between 118 ° 27 ′ - 118 ° 41 ′ E and 27 ° 36 ′ - 27 ° 49 ′ n. Shuibei Street Town
It is 22.5km wide from east to west and 24.3km long from north to south. The terrain of the whole territory is high in the East and northeast, and low in the southwest. The Jiling mountains in the East stand four kilometers of peaks, the highest of which is shijutou, with an altitude of 1022.6 meters. Nanpu river runs through the central part from north to south. Six Neolithic to Warring States cultural sites have been found in the territory. From Song Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, xiaotili and shangyuanli were under the jurisdiction of 8 Tu and 6 Tu respectively. During the period of the Republic of China, they belonged to Guanqian Township and Shuibei Township respectively. During the revolutionary war, there were 106 natural villages in the old districts, including the District Committee, Central District Committee and Special Zone Committee.
In August 1949, the first three districts were established in the county, with Guanqian and Shuibei as the second and third district offices respectively. In the autumn of 1952, there were 13 districts in Shuibei. After the people's commune, Guanqian commune was established, and then divided into Guanqian commune and Shuibei commune. At the beginning of 1966, it was merged into Shuibei commune, which has 23 production brigades under its jurisdiction. In September 1981, it was renamed Shuibei Street commune. In September 1984, gaishuibeijie Township had 24 village committees, 3 Township offices and 195 villager groups. On August 18, 1993, the township was set up. The territory is rich in natural resources, forest area of 365000 mu, mountain area of 248000 mu. The cultivated land area is 34500 mu, and the total forest volume is 816000 cubic meters. The power resources are sufficient, with an installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts. The mineral resources include pyrite, fluorite, porcelain clay, glaze ore and granite. A large number of clay layers suitable for porcelain production are valuable resources for the development and production of ceramic products. Ceramic production has a long history. Zhudun kiln site in Tang Dynasty and Banlu kiln and Dakou kiln site in Song Dynasty have been found, among which Dakou kiln site is listed as the first batch of cultural relics protection units in Fujian Province. Shuibeijie town and Shanghai Research Institute of chemical industry plan to use high phosphorus soil to produce oil decolorizer. The territory has beautiful landscape and rich tourism resources.
Jiushidu scenic spot, known as "little Wuyi" in Pucheng, has clear water and Danshan mountain. There are jiushidu, xiaowudang mountain (Jindou mountain), rat rock, jiushishan mountain (eighteen Arhats), Guanqian ancient port and other scenic spots. The preface to the ode to the red rainbow written by song Jiangyan of the Southern Dynasty states: "outside the southeast Qiao, there are nine stone mountains, which are ten li red walls, with green ridges; the moss is slippery and faces the water, and the stone is dangerous and leads to the stream..." Xu Xiake, a great traveler of Ming Dynasty, sighed "farewell step by step" after his visit here. Guanqian village, which is connected with jiushidu, is the residence of Xie Ao, a famous patriot and poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. It is rich in cultural and natural landscape. In June 1999, it was approved by the provincial people's government as one of the first batch of historical and cultural villages in the province. Maozhou melon seeds and xiaowudang red mushroom are the most famous local products.
