Bijiagang street is located in the middle of Bagong mountain area, between Shanwang town and Bagongshan Town, adjacent to Shanwang town in the west, North and south, and Bagongshan town in the East, covering an area of about 6.8 square kilometers. After bijiagang street was established in February 1963, the area was merged into Xinzhuangzi street. In October 1977, four villages including upstream, kuangnan, Dalou and Huangshan were set up from Xinzhuangzi street to establish bijiagang Street office, which was formally established in April 1978. Huaili highway and SHUIZHANG railway pass through the territory. There are 19374 regular residents (2010). The sub district office is located next to the 19th Middle School of the upstream community city, with 62 staff (including 42 community staff).
Units under jurisdiction
There are eight units in the area, including wanhuai machinery factory, Nan'ao carpet Co., Ltd., eight District Transportation Bureau, six traffic police brigade, fourth fire brigade and Huainan No.19 middle school.
There are organizations in the street, including the working committee of the National People's Congress, the party and government office, the Civil Affairs Office, the League Working Committee, the Armed Forces Department, the trade union, the women's Federation, the family planning office, the comprehensive management office, the labor and social security office and other departments.

Upstream community: it is located in the west of bijiagang street and the west of Huaili highway. It was established in July 2002 by merging the former upstream village 1 and upstream village 2, covering an area of about 0.6 square kilometers. The permanent population is 6098. At present, there are six staff members. The sub district office is within the jurisdiction.
Xinjian community: located in the east of bijiagang section of Huaili highway, it was formed in July 2002 by the combination of the original Xinjian village 1 and Xinjian village 2. The permanent population is 7374.
Kuangnan community: located in the southeast of bijiagang street, it was formed in July 2002 by the merger of the original kuangnan No.1 village, kuangnan No.2 village and Mafang village. Population 9142. There are Huainan double Textile Co., Ltd. (former hemp textile factory), bijiagang railway station and other units in the area.
Huangshan community: it was changed from Huangshan Village to community in July 2002. It is located in wanhuai machinery factory, with a permanent population of 2911.
Get honor
In 1999, 2000 and 2004, it was rated as the advanced unit of comprehensive management at municipal level and the advanced unit of comprehensive management at district level from 2001 to 2003. In 2003 and 2004, the street judicial office was awarded the honorary title of "grassroots station satisfied by the people". Labor and social security work has made remarkable achievements. After being listed as the Municipal Service Demonstration Institute in 2004, it was rated as the provincial advanced office in 2005. The family planning work has made great progress in recent two years, and was awarded the advanced unit of family planning work in 2005 by the district government, ranking in the forefront of class II streets in the city.

Historical evolution
Bijiagang street was established in February 1963 and then merged into Xinzhuangzi street. In October 1977, bijiagang sub district office was set up in Xinzhuangzi sub district, which was divided into four villages: upstream, kuangnan, Dalou and Huangshan. It was officially established in April 1978. In 1997, it covers an area of 45 square kilometers and has a population of 22000. It has jurisdiction over eight neighborhood committees, namely, upstream village 1, upstream village 2, Xinjian village 1, Xinjian village 2, kuangnan village 1, kuangnan village 2, Mafang village and Huangshan Village. In July 2002, it was changed to four communities.
