The farm has a subtropical monsoon climate with abundant rainfall. The average annual temperature is 22 ℃, the average annual rainfall is 1940.7 mm, the average annual sunshine is 1850 hours, the average annual relative humidity is 80.2%, and the vegetation coverage rate is about 85%. The geographical coordinates of the farm are 108 ° 51 ′ 32 ″ - 109 ° 01 ′ 03 ″ E and 21 ° 50 ′ 25 ″ - 22 ° 03 ′ 42 ″ n. The terrain of the farm is mainly low slope hills, and the soil is mainly deep sandy red soil formed by granite weathering. The organic matter content is between 1% and 2%, and the pH value is about 5-8. Water resources are abundant, and the main rivers are Dafengjiang. The site is 12 kilometers away from Nanli exit of Nanning Beihai expressway, and the traffic is very convenient. It has jurisdiction over three rural management areas (village committees) and 18 resettlement teams for returned overseas Chinese. The total area of the farm is 139.94 square kilometers, which is the second largest overseas Chinese farm in Guangxi. The available area of the state-owned part is 116878 mu, and the majority of the population is Han nationality. The whole field is dominated by rice planting, sugarcane planting, cassava planting, fast-growing Eucalyptus planting, pepper planting and breeding.
Historical evolution
Liguang overseas Chinese farm, formerly known as Liguang rubber farm, was established in 1952 under the West Guangdong Bureau of agricultural reclamation. At the beginning of its construction, it mainly planted rubber. In 1958, it was renamed state-owned Liguang farm. In 1962, it was transferred to Qin County for management and renamed Liguang fruit farm. In 1964, it was renamed Liguang fruit farm of Qinzhou Zhuang Autonomous County with Qin county. In 1965, Qinzhou Zhuang Autonomous County was put under the jurisdiction of Guangxi and renamed Qinzhou county. The farm was then renamed Liguang fruit farm of Qinzhou County. On October 5, 1968, Qinzhou County transferred more than 300 cadres to the farm for labor training and renamed Qinzhou county one o five cadre school with jurisdiction of one o five cadres Family farm and 311 farm. In 1971, Qin County Youth tea farm established in 1966 was merged. In 1975, due to the transfer of cadres, 311 farm was abolished and renamed as Liguang fruit farm. In the same year, Qinzhou county Party school was established. On May 22, 1978, the camp began to receive and resettle a large number of Vietnamese returnees. By March 1984, it had received 4877 returnees. In March 1979, with the approval of the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, it was renamed as the state-owned Liguang overseas Chinese farm of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is a department level unit in charge of an enterprise with the nature of an institution and is subordinate to the overseas Chinese enterprise bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region. In October 1980, with the approval of Qinzhou regional administrative office, 42 production teams of red arrow diangen of Nali commune and 35 production teams of Xinwu and Fenghuang of Napeng commune in Qinzhou County, together with 8031 farmers, were divided into three administrative areas for farm management. On September 30, 1997, the people's Government of the autonomous region delegated the farm to Qinzhou City under the jurisdiction of guizhengfa No. 28. On December 22, 1997, Qinzhou City delegated the farm to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City.
