Nanyu town

Nanyu Town, located in the south of Minhou County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is now entrusted by Fuzhou high tech Zone.

Nanyu town is located in the east foot of the banner, on the northwest Bank of Dazhang River, opposite Nantong town in the East, facing Nantai Island in Fuzhou in the northeast, adjacent to Guanzhou village in Cangshan District, Tangqian Township in Yongtai County in the southwest, and Shangjie town in the north. Nanyu Town, with its prosperous economy and developed culture, is known as "xiaozhongting" in Fuzhou.

Historical evolution

Nanyu commune was set up in 1958, and the town was changed in 1984. High tech Industrial Park

In March 2017, the high tech Zone officially released the regulatory detailed planning of Nanyu District, which will build Nanyu town into a district level public service center of Fuzhou high tech Zone and a livable new city with good ecological environment.
