Guangang town

Guangang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dongzhi County in Anhui Province, is located in the central and southern part of Dongzhi County. It is the transportation hub of the thoroughfare of Anhui and Jiangxi provinces. It is adjacent to Jingdezhen in the south, Anqing in the north, Jiujiang in the west, Jiuhuashan and Huangshan in the East. Guangang town governs 16 administrative villages and 179 villager groups. In 2017, the administrative area was 24363 hectares, with 23726 permanent residents.

Guangang town is rich in resources, especially tea, mushrooms, fungus, Ganoderma lucidum, citrus, bamboo shoots. It is known as "tea mushroom city" and "Huigan mountain town". Historical evolution

The name of Guangang comes from shanxiacunxiang, which is located on the watershed between the tributaries of Yaodu River and Longquan River.
