Tiechong Township
Tiechong Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Jinzhai County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, China, is located in the northwest of Jinzhai County, east of Jingangtai and upper reaches of the Yangtze River, bounded by Anhui and Henan provinces, including Jinzhai County, Shangcheng County and Gushi County, and adjacent to Shuanghe, tangjiahui, quanjun, suxianshi, duanji, wumiao and chenlinzi, which is the northwest of Jinzhai County's opening to the outside world The window is an important channel for Anhui to connect Henan and Wuhan to Beijing Kowloon Railway and Ningxi railway. It is 26 km, 32 km, 36 km and 28 km away from Jinzhai County, Shangcheng County, Gushi County and Yeji experimental area respectively.
In 2017, tiechong Township had an administrative area of 10400 hectares and a permanent population of 12007.
Historical evolution
Before Lihuang county was established, Zhangdian, Liqiao and GAOFAN villages in tiechong Township belonged to Shangcheng County, while Qianying, Changhe, tiechong and GAOFAN villages belonged to Gushi County. From 1951 to 1957, there were three townships, Zaohe, dianqiao and Huayuan, belonging to Shuanghe district. In 1958, the three townships were merged into King Kong people's commune, which was subordinate to Baida district. In 1961, the large commune was divided into small communes, namely Zaohe commune and tiechong commune. In 1969, Zaohe, tiechong and quanjun were merged into tiechong commune, which was located in Qianying village. In 1972, the organizational system of the district was restored, and the whole army commune was separated. Zaohe commune and tiechong commune were still together. They were tiechong commune, belonging to Shuanghe district. In 1983, tiechong commune was renamed tiechong township. In 1992, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged.
Geography and climate
The terrain of the territory is high, medium and low, and it is irregular basin like. The annual maximum temperature is 39 ℃, the minimum temperature is - 10 ℃, the frost free period is about 210 days, the annual precipitation is 1200 mm, the climate is mild, and the four seasons are distinct. It is a good place for the reproduction and growth of agriculture, forestry, medicine and other plants.

In 1977, the county-level shahedian huichong highway (shahedian huichong) was built, 9 kilometers long in tiechong. In 1988, tieshuang highway (11 km from tiechong to goujiling) was built. In 1987, the provincial tiesu highway (7.1km from tiechong to suxianshi) was built. In 2003, tiesu highway was paved as asphalt road according to grade 3; in 2005, tieshuang highway was paved as asphalt road, and provincial tiewu highway (tiechong to wumiao Township, Gushi County, 10 km) was built as cement road in the same year. By 2007, tiechong has opened three provincial highways (tiechong to suxianshi in Shangcheng County, Foziling and wumiaoji in Gushi County), two main roads (tiechong to Meishan and Shuanghe), and one intra Township circular highway. In 2006, 8 km of cement road to the village was built, with 100% of the roads to the village, and 70% of the roads to the village group and village. Tiechong has opened two passenger buses to Meishan and Nanxi, with 8 buses (including 2 CMB, 3 Mian, 2 Jinbei and 1 Chang'an). 2100 civil motorcycles, 0.67 per household.

Tiechong Township began to be electrified in 1980. At that time, there was only one transformer and one electricity controller. In 1991, the township power management station was established under the county small hydropower company. After the reform in 2000, the township power supply station was established. In 2003, its business and personnel were merged with the county power supply company. Township power supply has 200 square meters of office buildings, 28 transformer areas, 10 electricians, 62 kilometers of transmission line, and 100% of power supply households. Since 1991, tiechong has carried out four times of rural power network transformation (1993, 1996, 1998 and 2004). In 1998 and 2004, tiechong took the lead in completing the task of rural power network transformation in the whole county, and was awarded by the county Party committee and the county government. In 2004, tiechong township was the first in the county to realize the same price of urban and rural power grid, and the electricity price dropped to 0.563 yuan. In 1989, a power station was built in tiechong reservoir. In 2006, it was auctioned to self-employed households, with an annual power generation of 500000 kwh.
Water conservancy construction
There are 205 dangjiatang, 280 weirs and two small reservoirs in the township. Since 1997, efforts have been intensified to harness the Yangtze River. A total of 1745 meters of levees have been built (800 meters for Zaohe River, 200 meters for tiechong River, 200 meters for GAOFAN River and 545 meters for Qianying River). River fields on both sides of the river have been protected. From 1992 to 1995, small watershed management was carried out in yuanqianying, Jiahe and Liqiao villages. 450 mu of land was reclaimed, 328 mu of terraced land was changed, 678 mu of barren hills was planted, 264 mu of old tea garden was transformed, and 272 mu of soil erosion was controlled. There are 2700 rural tap water users (mainly high mountain water diversion), accounting for 87% of the total number of households. There are Waterworks in towns and townships, with a user rate of 100%.

In 1991, the Township radio and television station was set up. In 1996, cable television was launched, with 4 sets of channels. By 2005, the number of channels has increased to 16. In August 2005, tiechong Township TV was the first to realize County Township networking in the whole county, with 40 TV channels and 99 TV sets for 100 households. In 2004, 16 sets of distance education equipment were introduced into townships, villages and primary and secondary schools. Tiechong township has four communication units: post, telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom. In 1954, the township post office was established, with an office area of 150 square meters, two employees and an annual business income of 150000 yuan. In 1995, tiechong opened program-controlled telephone earlier (there is broadband program-controlled exchange in the studio), installed 2650 fixed telephone, with an average of 0.85 per household; in 2003 and 2007, it opened mobile and Unicom telephone respectively (with two mobile stations and one contact station), with 4000 mobile phones in the township, with an average of 1.3 per household.
Construction of small market towns
Tiechong Township Central market town construction started in 1988, has begun to take shape, and become the frontier market town in the northwest of Jinzhai County. The total length of the market town is 3 kilometers. Taking tiechong bridge as the boundary, the market town is divided into East and west parts. The market town covers an area of 90000 square meters, with a construction area of 50000 square meters; there are 492 households with 312 people (including teachers and students of primary and secondary schools); there are 208 business households with an annual net income of 1.25 million yuan. Township government, middle schools, central primary schools, health centers, power supply stations, credit cooperatives, forestry technology stations, posts and Telecommunications stations, animal husbandry and veterinary stations and other units are all located in Township towns; tiechong cement plant and tiechong talcum powder plant are also located in Township towns. Driven by the township, the construction of concentrated residential areas in Zhangdian, tiechong, GAOFAN and Zaohe villages has taken shape, with 180 households, 1460 people and 50 business households. Rural housing conditions have gradually improved, and the housing structure has changed from brick and tile type to storey type, with an average housing area of 145 square meters.

The agricultural economy of tiechong is mainly sericulture, chestnut, tea and fungus medicine. The average annual sown area of grain is 10159 mu, the yield per unit area is 265 kg, and the total yield is 2689 tons. The average annual sown area of oil crops is 1530 mu, the yield per unit area is 125 kg, and the total yield is 191.5 tons. The township has more than 800 mu of mulberry garden, more than 600 pieces of silkworm rearing per year, and the annual income is nearly 500000 yuan. More than 1000 mu of tea is planted, with an annual output of 120 tons of tea and an annual income of 4 million yuan. It has cultivated more than 20 mu of Chinese medicinal materials, with an annual output of more than 20 tons of Chinese medicinal materials and an annual income of more than 240000 yuan. It has cultivated 100000 sticks (bags) of edible fungi, with an annual income of more than 600000 yuan. there are more than 30 kinds of tree species in the woodland of the township, including pine, fir, chestnut, maple, Tuanshu, YINGSHANHONG, wild hickory, and the most precious are wild hickory and seven leaf maple. The timber volume is nearly 1.3 million cubic meters. the territory has complex geological structure and rich mineral resources. Limestone, graphite, lead-zinc, iron, manganese and gold all have a certain grade, especially the limestone reserves are huge, which can be used for continuous mining of 50 tons of cement stone per day for more than 100 years. In 2007, the per capita net income of farmers was 2986 yuan. From 1988 to 1991, tiechong Township had 83 enterprises, including Zaohe silkworm farm, carpet factory, management department and handling station, 2 village enterprises, 7 cooperative enterprises, 70 individual enterprises, and 253 employees. From 1992 to 1995, there were 50 enterprises run by the whole Township, including 4 enterprises run by the township, 11 enterprises run by the village, 5 enterprises run by joint households, 30 enterprises run by individuals, and 828 workers were employed. By the end of 2007, there were three key enterprises in the township, including Xinye sporting goods branch, talcum powder plant, Huli cement plant, etc., which solved the employment of more than 1000 people. Among them, Huli cement plant has an annual output of 100000 tons of cement, an annual output value of 27 million yuan and a profit tax of 200000 yuan, accounting for 30% of the three industries. according to statistics, in 2007, there were more than 4000 people working and doing business in the township, with an income of 20 million yuan. Among them, 123 are mainly engaged in transportation, catering, commodity marketing, etc., with 532 employees and 126000 yuan in tax revenue, accounting for 15% of the three industries.

By the end of 1998, there were 524 students in one junior high school, 1194 students in three primary schools, five junior high schools and two teaching sites, and 305 children in five kindergartens (including two private kindergartens) and five kindergarten classes. In 1998, the "two bases" of the township reached the standard and passed the provincial acceptance. The enrollment rate of primary schools was 100%, that of junior middle schools was 99%, and that of junior middle schools was more than 70%.
