Xiaoxihe town

Xiaoxihe Town, subordinate to Fengyang County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, is an important town in the east of Fengyang County. It is about 30 kilometers away from the county. In April 2007, it was merged by the original Xiaoxihe Town, Shimenshan town and dengdeng township. At present, the town covers an area of 205.48 square kilometers, governs 12 administrative villages and 3 communities, and has a permanent population of 39325 (2017). Provincial Highway 307, Ningluo Expressway and Beijing Shanghai railway pass through the town. The town has 56 party branches and 1445 party members.

Xiaoxihe commune was established in 1961 and changed to town in 1986.

In February 1992, Liyuan township was merged into Xiaoxihe town after the district was withdrawn.

In 1997, it covers an area of 94.5 square kilometers and has a population of 26000. It has jurisdiction over 16 village committees, including Xiaoxihe, Daiwei, Zhongzhuang, Liuqiao, Qiying, Jinzhuang, Panlong, chezhuang, Beixia, guaiwu, hanzhao, damiaoyu, Xiaogang, Yangang, Liyuan and Shima.

General situation

Xiaoxihe town is an important town in the east of Fengyang County, 34 kilometers away from the county seat. It was merged from Xiaoxihe Town, Shimenshan town and dengdeng town in April 2007. With an area of 205.48 square kilometers, the town has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee, with a permanent population of 39325 (in 2017), 30 grassroots party branches and 2035 party members.

The town is rich in mineral resources, with high-grade quartz sand, limestone, granite, Zhongjiashan lead-zinc mine and other mineral resources. Provincial Highway 307, South Luoyang Expressway and Beijing Shanghai railway pass through the town, with convenient transportation and abundant resources. The forest and mountain farm is rich in resources. It is also a famous black bean planting and marketing base in China, with an annual planting area of 45000 Mu and an output of 6500 tons. It is exported to South Korea, Japan and other places.

Xiaogang Village, the birthplace of the national rural reform, is located in the southwest of the town. In 1978, with the spirit of being the first in the world, Xiaogang people pressed 18 bright red fingerprints, and created the agricultural contract in the country. Now it is one of the top ten famous villages in China.

Shimenshan town

Located in the east of Fengyang County, 40 kilometers away from the county. Beijing Shanghai railway crosses the territory. Fengshi, Shiran and Shimei highways crisscross the territory.

Shimenshan township was established in 1949, Shimenshan commune was changed in 1973, the township was restored in 1984, and Shimenshan town was built in 1992. Lamp town

Located in the southeast of Fengyang County, 35 kilometers away from the county. With a total area of 47 square kilometers and a total population of 12000 (about 2004), it has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages. The four highways of fengran, Huoshi, Huoxiao and Huohong meet here.
