Shuangfengsi town

Shuangfeng temple town, located in Shuangqiao District, Chengde, Hebei, is located in the northeast of Shuangqiao District, adjacent to the village of Cang Zi, Chengde, and adjacent to the town of lion town. The north border with the town of Gao Si Tai, Chengde, with an area of 128.49 square kilometers, and as of 2018, the registered residence population is 31811.

In 1956, set up Shuangfengsi Township, Chengde County. In 1958, Shuangfeng Temple commune was established. In 1984, the commune was abolished and Shuangfengsi township was established. In 1986, the township was withdrawn and Shuangfengsi town was established. In May 2007, Chengde County was assigned to Shuangqiao District. As of June 2020, Shuangfengsi town has one community and 18 administrative villages.

Shuangfengsi town is located in the northeast of Shuangqiao District, adjacent to Cangzi township of Chengde County in the East, Shizigou town in the South and West, and Gaositai town of Chengde County in the north, covering an area of 128.49 square kilometers.

In Shuangfengsi Town, the highest peak is located in the northwest of laoxigou, Xiaojing village and the mountain range dividing Gaositai Town, with an altitude of 1125 meters; the lowest point is located in WuLie river bank, laoxiying village, with an altitude of 350 meters.

Wulie River, the largest river in Shuangfengsi Town, flows from Nantang village to laoxiying, through 13 villages including Nantang, Dianzi, xikan, dongkan, Liying, Donghuang, xiananshan, Xinfangzi, Shangwopu, Xiaodonggou, Shuangfengsi, sandaohe and laoxiying, with a length of 12.5 km.
