Dongshan Street

Dongshan street is located in the south of tianjia'an District, Huainan City, Anhui Province. In April 1957, Dongshan Street office was set up in tianjia'an district. In May 1960, tianjia'an City People's commune was established. Dongshan sub district office was canceled and Dongshan Branch of tianjia'an people's commune was established. In July 1963, Dongshan Branch was abolished and Dongshan sub district office was restored.

The sub district office covers an area of 6 square kilometers, with Datong forest farm of Mining Group in the East, sanjiaoyao road in the West (East), Dongshan ridge in the South and Huaihe railway in the north. Huainan Municipal Party committee, Huainan Municipal government, Huainan Mining Group, Huainan military division and other political, economic and military organs are located within the jurisdiction, which is the political, economic, military and cultural center of Huainan City. The sub district has five community neighborhood committees, namely, Zhongxing, Junmin, Xincun, Xiaojie and liming, with 45 community workers.
