Houjiang Street

Houjiang sub district office is located in the southwest of Yiwu City, bordered by Jiangdong sub district, Fotang Town, Yiting Town, Chengxi sub district, Beiyuan sub district and Houcheng sub district. It was established in March 2001, with an administrative area of 38 square kilometers. It has three working areas of economic development, Jiangwan and Guantang, four communities of Fenghuang, Xingye, Jindu and songmenli, and has jurisdiction over 43 villages. Yiwu Economic Development Zone, Zhejiang Province, was established in 1992 and implemented the first phase of development, with a total planning area of 44 square kilometers. It is the first provincial Economic Development Zone in Yiwu City. Houjiang street and Yiwu Economic Development Zone of Zhejiang Province implement the management system of two brands, one team and joint office.

Established in March 2001, the Houjiang sub district office and the Management Committee of Yiwu Economic Development Zone, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province have two brands and one team. Houjiang Street office is located in the southwest of the city, facing Jiangdong Street across the river in the East, Fotang town in the south, Yiting town and Chengxi street in the west, and Houcheng, Beiyuan street and Chengxi street in the north. It is one of the seven streets in our city. The administrative area is 38 square kilometers. It is 0.5km away from the city government, 1.5km away from the railway station, 3km away from the civil aviation Yiwu Airport, 1km away from the Hangjin Quzhou expressway. Provincial highway 03 passes through the territory, and the traffic network is smooth and convenient. It is a hilly area with a cultivated area of 16687.8 mu, including 12107 mu of paddy field and 5480.8 mu of dry land. It has three working films of economic development, Jiangwan and Guantang, four communities of Fenghuang, Xingye, songmenli and Jindu, 33 administrative villages, 10 neighborhood committees and a population of 125668 (2010). There is a middle school in Houjiang with an investment of 60 million yuan, which has been put into use. There are 8 primary schools and 1 national key vocational school. There are Fuyuan hospital, Houjiang hospital, Jiangwan hospital and Guantang hospital. Linshan temple in Yiwu is located at the foot of the main mountain in Jiangwan. It is one of the 10 legal places for religious activities and a scenic spot in Yiwu. According to legend, the main mountain was originally named zhupanshan, because it rises from the flat ground, such as a jade plate supporting a pearl, so it is called zhupanshan. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, when Zhu Yuanzhang was training in the Huangshan area of Shangxi Town, he visited zhupan mountain. He saw the lush trees and elegant environment of the mountain, which is a beautiful scenery in the world. After the establishment of the dynasty by Zhu Yuanzhang, the local people changed zhupan mountain into the main mountain because Zhu Yuanzhang had come to the mountain, which has been used up to now. After ups and downs and vicissitudes, today's Linshan temple was built year by year with voluntary donations from the local people after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Adjacent to Linshan temple, there is a memorial hall commemorating more than 1100 compatriots who suffered from the Japanese bacterial warfare in Chongshan and other villages, with an investment of nearly 100000 yuan. It is a famous patriotic education base in Yiwu City. Historical evolution

In the Qing Dynasty, it was the first capital of Chongde Township, the fourteenth capital of Yongning Township, and the twenty second capital of Tongyi township. In the Republic of China, it belonged to Youlian, Xiangshan, Jiangwan and other townships. In 1950, it belonged to Yangcun, huangyangmei, Wutang, Hengtang, Donghe, yuzhai, Jiangwan, Xinwu, Jincun and other townships. In 1956, it belonged to Donghe, Jiangwan and Houcheng. In 1961, it established three people's communes, Yangcun, Guantang and Jiangwan. In 1983, it was renamed township. In 1992, it was renamed township Yangcun township was merged into Houcheng town. In 2000, Yuanyang village, Guantang Township and Jiangwan township of Choucheng town were merged to build chojiang town. In 2002, the town changed into a sub district office.
