Xiayang town

Xiayang Town, subordinate to Yanling County, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, is the seat of Yanling County Party committee and county government. It is known as "big town of rice" and "hometown of fruit". It is the political, economic and cultural center of the county. The mountain forest area of the town is 132600 mu, and the water area is 3546 mu. The resident population was 73346 (2017). The area of cultivated land is 14683 mu (14010 mu of paddy field and 673 mu of dry soil).
