On December 7, 2016, Qianqing street was listed as the third batch of national new urbanization comprehensive pilot areas.
On June 2, 2017, Qianqing street was listed in the three-year (2017-2019) action plan of small city cultivation pilot in Zhejiang Province. On October 9, 2018, Qianqing street was selected as one of the top 100 towns with comprehensive strength in China in 2018. History and culture
Keqiao District Qianqing street has a long history. It is said that during the Eastern Han Dynasty, Liu Chong, the prefect of Kuaiji County, was praised by the emperor for his outstanding achievements. When he was transferred to leave office, his local father and elder presented money to the West Xiaojiang River. Liu Chong insisted on not taking it. He only indicated that he would take one and put it into the river. The river water suddenly became clear, and the name "Qian Qing" came from the beginning. Later, the Hundred Surnames remembered his virtue. They built a pavilion near the river, named Yiqian Pavilion, also known as Qingshui Pavilion. Up to now, the imperial stele Qian Qing Zhen Bi Ti written by Emperor Qianlong has been preserved. Qian Qing established a town in the Northern Song Dynasty, which has a history of thousands of years.
The post was set up in Song Dynasty, and the city was built in Ming Dynasty. In Qing Dynasty, it was the specialized market of sea salt in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing. During the period of the Republic of China, Xiaoshan was to the north of Jiehe and Shaoxing to the south. In October 1950, the two cities merged to build towns. In March 1989, the provincial people's Government approved it as a key industrial satellite town.
