Yushu Township
Yushu Township, belonging to Hui County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Hui County, bordering Liulin town and yinxingshu town in the East, Fujia town in the south, jiangluo town in the West and Gaoqiao Town in the north. It is 43 kilometers away from Hui County, with a total area of 270.3 square kilometers.
In 1729, after Huizhou was demoted to a county, Yushu township was one of the eight towns under the jurisdiction of Hui County; in December 1983, Yushu commune was changed into Yushu township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Yushu township was 6558. As of June 2020, Yushu rural area has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Yushu village.
The main food crops in Yushu township are wheat and corn; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle and poultry. In 2018, Yushu township has 6 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Yushu township is named after the township government's residence in Yushu village.
In 1729, Huizhou was one of the eight towns under the jurisdiction of Huizhou county.
After 1949, Wei county was divided into 7 districts, 41 townships and Yushu district.
In July 1958, Huicheng County, Chengcheng County and Liangdang county were merged into Huicheng county. There were 21 communes in the county, and Yushu commune was listed.
In January 1962, Yushu commune was changed into Yushu township.
In 1965, Yushu township was changed into Yushu commune.
In December 1983, Yushu commune was transformed into Yushu township.
