Hesheng town

Hesheng town is a central town established by the merger of Hesheng Township, Donggao Township, Xiyuan Township and Lingtou Township when the township administrative division was adjusted in May 2011. It is located in the northeast mountainous area of Yongjia County, bordering Yueqing in the East, Taizhou Huangyan in the north and 47 km from the county seat in the south. The total area of the district is 173.92 square kilometers (2017), and the total population of the town is 24135 (2017). There are four communities under the central town, namely Hesheng, Donggao, Xiyuan and Lingtou. There are 58 administrative villages. There are 73 party branches and 1386 party members in the town. In 2013, the fiscal revenue was 27.57 million yuan, the total agricultural output value was 114 million yuan, and the per capita rural income was 7617 yuan. In 2009, it won the provincial tourism strong Township, in 2010, it won the Provincial Ecological Township, and now it has applied to create a national ecological town. In 2016, the jurisdiction of Hesheng town was adjusted and Yunling township was added. Evolution of organizational system

The name of the town comes from Hesheng village. According to the old county annals, Hesheng is named because the mountain behind the village looks like a white crane and people expect it to take off. Later, it was renamed Hesheng. Hesheng town is located in the upper reaches of Nanxi River and the West foot of Yandang. There are many scenic spots in Hesheng Town, among which shizhiyan scenic spot and Longwantan Forest Park are the most famous. Shizhiyan scenic spot is one of the seven scenic spots of Nanxi River. Mountains, rocks, water, caves, waterfalls and other landscape elements are complete; it is famous for its majestic, strange, dangerous, beautiful and secluded features. The main scenic spots are shizhiyan, Shuixian cave, Qilin peak, xiaosanxia, Taogu cave, xiangshuiyan, etc. Among them, the stone mast is shaped like a mast, facing the water on three sides, pulling the ground straight into the sky, with a relative height of more than 306 meters, known as "the first pillar in the Southeast". Longwantan National Forest Park has abundant natural vegetation and good ecological environment protection. In the scenic area, qifengyishi and feibaobitan are common. Hesheng Town, located in the northeast of Yongjia County, is the youngest town in Yongjia.
