Chongshou town
Chongshou town is located in the north of Cixi City at 30 ° 15 'n and 121 ° 18' e, facing Xinpu town across Sizaopu River in the East, adjacent to Andong town in the west, Wutang town in the south, Kandun street in the East, Shengshan town in the southeast and Hangzhou Bay New District in the north, covering an area of 20 square kilometers (2017). It got its name from the two words "Chong" and "Shou" in chongsan and Fushou.
The evolution of subordination
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Yunke, Meichuan and other townships, and belonged to Yuyao county. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to chongsan and Fushou townships, and was governed in Andong district. In 1954, it was assigned to Cixi County.
