Diao'e Town, belonging to Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Chicheng County. It is 27 kilometers away from the people's Government of Chicheng County, with a total area of 353.72 square kilometers.
In 1914, diao'e town belonged to Longguan County; in 1995, diao'e town was changed from diao'e township to diao'e town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town was 15530. As of June 2020, diao'e town has 30 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in diao'e village.

History of construction
In 1914, it belonged to Longguan county.
In 1953, diao'e township was established.
In 1958, it belonged to Dahaituo commune.
In 1961, diao'e commune was established in Chicheng County.
In 1984, diao'e commune was transformed into diao'e township.
In 1995, diao'e township was changed into diao'e town.
In February 1996, dongxingbao township was merged into diao'e town.
