Shupu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhenhai District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the north of Zhenhai District, Ningbo City, 23 kilometers south of the downtown area of Ningbo and 14 kilometers away from Zhaobaoshan street. East of the East China Sea gray turtle ocean, across the sea and Jintang Island. Dapingling in North Vietnam borders Longshan Town of Cixi City, Jiaochuan street, Luotuo street and Guisi street in South, and Jiulonghu town in West. The total area is 29.3 square kilometers (2017). There are four islands and reefs in the sea: Shupu mountain (Niluo mountain), Bazi mountain, Qipan mountain and zoumatang. The town government is now stationed at 28 Xinjian West Road, Yuyan village. It has jurisdiction over 2 residential areas, 8 administrative villages and 1 fishing community, with a population of 41201 (2017).

In July 2020, it was named as the National Health township of 2017-2019 cycle by the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee.

Shupu town is named after the ancient spillway Shupu, which is an ancient fishing town. Historical evolution

Shupu town is an ancient fishing town. Wanghai town was built in 809 ad, changed to Wanghai County in 909 ad, and later renamed Dinghai county. In 1077 ad, Shupu town was called Shupu town. In 1930, Shupu was established as a town. In October 1958, Shupu was a management area under camel commune. In October 1961, Shupu management area and juedu management area were merged to establish juedu people's commune. In March 1985, juedu township was changed into Shupu town. In September 2001, Lanshan and Wantang villages in Chengguan town were merged into Shupu town.

Shupu town is named after Shupu, an ancient spillway. Shupu River, also known as Xihe River, originates from Xiangshan Mountain in Hengxi. It winds for more than ten miles, passes through Tiangang and luanzhangpeng ports, crosses Yongnian bridge to Shupu sluice (under the cave of this month) and flows into the East China Sea. Qipu was silted up in the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty. The former Zhengjia Village (17fang Zhengjia Village) is located 1km south of Shupu and southwest of Zeshan. It has 407 households and 1009 residents (about 1998), including 88 non-agricultural residents. The village is inhabited by the surname Zheng. It is the name of Zheng's seventeen houses. According to the records of Zheng Chuanji Zhu Juan written by Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, "Jinghou, the first ancestor of Zheng family, moved to lingxu Township in the south of Song Dynasty, and chose Yangtang road edge in the mountain, which is called" road edge Zheng " After passing on to the sixth generation, he lived in 17 separate houses... industrial economy

In 1984, there were 43 industrial enterprises (including village run enterprises) in juedu township. The main enterprises are micro motor factory, paper mill, brick factory, electrical factory, bakelite factory, comprehensive society, etc.

In March 1985, juedu township was changed into Shupu town. From the beginning of this year, the town industrial office gradually transformed the enterprises with low profits, serious losses and poor management. In order to promote the sustainable, rapid and healthy development of the town's economy, we have carried out the system transformation of the town's collective enterprises, such as juedu sand and gravel yard, resin building materials factory, construction team, the sixth sweater factory, and times clothing factory.

In 1994, Shupu Industrial Development Zone was launched. The first industrial enterprise introduced was Ningbo Dahongying bioengineering weie project, which was located in the north foot of Fenghuang Mountain in the development zone.

In April 1995, Ningbo Municipal Government approved Shupu Industrial Development Zone as a municipal development zone. Shupu Town, according to local conditions, actively and effectively carried out the work of attracting investment, and accelerated the pace of industrial park construction.

Since 1997, Shupu town has opened up an industrial economic belt along the national highway, implemented preferential policies, and introduced and cultivated a number of backbone enterprises, such as Shengfa Copper Co., Ltd., Baoyun group company, Jintang electric appliance company, etc.

It is close to the river and the sea, and has a natural mountain barrier with the residential area. In 2006, in order to meet the needs of development, Ningbo Chemical Industry Zone and Shupu town were officially separated, and the two sides were divided into districts. In this year, although the total output value of industry and agriculture in Shupu town increased by 18.2% year on year, the total output value decreased from 2.334 billion yuan in 2004 to 1.984 billion yuan. In 2008, the construction of Ningbo highway transportation and logistics base started. After completion, it will support the productive service industry of Ningbo Chemical Industry Zone and serve the highway logistics hub in eastern Zhejiang. After the completion of the base, it will become another development pole of Shupu Town, and keep pace with Shupu town relying on the development of chemical industry zone.

Agricultural construction

In order to strengthen the construction of national ecological zone in Zhenhai District, the ecological construction of Shupu with the characteristics of flower garden and forest belt has been opened up, and the comprehensive ecological benefits of Shupu are gradually emerging. Since 2003, Shupu section of Haitian ecological forest belt has been constructed, with an average width of 200 meters and a total length of 5.38 kilometers, covering an area of 1612 mu. It is a beautiful landscape in Xiongzhen. At the same time, the town fully relies on the existing agricultural industry foundation, enhances the radiation effect, forms the scale effect, and makes its own brand well. The ecological agriculture and leisure sightseeing agriculture present a prosperous situation.

In the construction of "five garden belt" modern agriculture in Zhenhai District, Shupu town involves the construction of "one garden belt", namely flower garden and riverside belt. The flower base of the Pu Pu has been gradually expanding and developing. After the completion of the hall and the flower garden, the snow garden and the beautiful flower garden, the leading industry of "perfume lily", will enter the development of the park, further expanding the existing scale and extending the flower industry chain.

With the deepening of the new rural construction, the public facilities in Shupu are improving day by day, and the living environment is becoming more and more beautiful. The hardening rate of the main roads in the built-up area of the market town reached 100%, and all the street lamps were installed in the urban area. In 2007, the laying of the sewage pipe network in the market town area was completed, so that the sewage interception amount reached 70%, and the centralized treatment facilities for rural domestic sewage were completed in Jinzhang natural village. The town will further strengthen the construction of sewage pipe network in market towns on the basis of 2007 according to the standard of building national ecological zone.

Shupu town focuses on technological transformation, clean production and brand patent construction, and increases the adjustment of industrial structure.
