Ruiyun Township

Ruiyun Township, affiliated to Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the east of Anyue County, and connects with Shiyang town in the East, and it is adjacent to HuLong town in the southeast, Baitasi Township in the south, Linfeng town in the west, Dongsheng township in the north and Gaosheng Township in the northeast. The maximum distance between East and west of the district is 4 km, the maximum distance from north to south is 10km, and the total area is 27.56 square kilometers.

Ruiyun township has rich tourism resources, which is the hometown of Xu Huangyu, the "empress Prince of Puzhou", South Korea, with 1 ancient village, 4 houses with carved beams and columns, 6 temples built by Song Dynasty, and existing Laojun Yan Zhang gongzhai, Liu Zhaoguan temple and Tianchi temple.

As of october2019, Ruiyun has 11 administrative villages in the countryside. By the end of 2018, 15166 people had registered residence in Rui Yun township. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Ruiyun township was 130million yuan, the total industrial output value was 510million yuan, and the total sales of social goods was RMB 60000.

In december2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to cancel Ruiyun Township and assign its administrative area to Shiyang town.

Historical evolution

It is named for Ruiyun mountain in China.

History and culture

Ruiyun has a long history, profound cultural origins and rich tourism resources. Laojun Yan zhanggongzhai is located on Shishan mountain of Xujiaba, Yuanmen village. The terrain is very dangerous. There are exquisite and rich stone carvings in the village. Two of the three villages are still in good condition. During the reign of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty, Zhang Xianzhong defeated Sichuan and led the troops to zhanggongzhai to resist them. They could not attack for a long time, so they wanted to cut off their food. After several decades of siege, several fish were thrown out of the stronghold wall, and the troops retreated.
