Linglong Street

Linglong street is located in the west of Lin'an City. It is an important part of the main urban area of Lin'an and the entrance of Lin'an West. Linglong street is 60 kilometers away from Hangzhou. Hangzhou Huizhou expressway, 02 provincial road and Xu high line pass through the city. It is adjacent to Jinnan street in the East, Jincheng Street and Taihuyuan town in the north, Tianmushan town in the West and Fuyang District in the south, with an administrative area of 113.72 square kilometers. It has 16 administrative villages, including Linglong, Dongshan, Xiangli, Shangquan, Jinxiu, Yayuan, Hongdu, xiayuqiao, Gaoyuan, Qianshan, Jinqiu, Qiaoling, Miji, Shuangyuan, Hualong and Laoshan, with a permanent population of 24500 and a foreign population of 11500.

Linglong street has successively won the honorary titles of advanced collective of cultural work in Zhejiang Province, provincial advanced grass-roots party school, trade union of 100 national demonstration towns (towns and streets), provincial "March 8" red flag collective, demonstration towns of meteorological earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in Zhejiang Province, target management identification of provincial first-class archives work, and strong education town in Zhejiang Province.

Origin of town name

Linglong town is named after Linglong mountain. According to the records of Lin'an County by Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty, "the two peaks stand upright and rise in the sky, so it is called Linglong." In the Southern Song Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Fengting and Qingxian. During the period of the Republic of China, it was Qingfeng township. It was divided into Dongshan, Fengting and Xinhua townships in 1935, Fengting and Xinhua townships in 1938 and Linglong and Hualong townships in 1945. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was divided into Jinyuan, Yuqian, Gaodong and Xiuxiang, which were merged in 1956

It is Yuqian and Linglong township. In 1958, Linglongshan commune was merged to establish Linglongshan township. In 1988, Linglongshan township was changed to xiayuqiao town. In 1993, it was renamed Linglong town.

Memorabilia

From 1978 to 1992, Linglongshan forest farm, with an area of 4523 mu, was established and won the title of national advanced forest farm. Qian Huachun, the director of the forest farm, was rated as national labor model and national advanced forestry worker, and was elected as deputy to the Eighth National People's Congress. From 1983 to 1988, the cultural center carried out the activities of "supplementing literature with literature and helping literature with multiple industries", forming a cultural economic entity with fixed assets of 1.5 million yuan, which was rated as the national advanced cultural center.

From 1987 to 1991, state forestry ministry, Academy of forestry, provincial and municipal leaders Zhu Guangyue, Liu Guangyun, Jiang Zehui, Tie Ying, Li Zemin, Xu Xinguan, Wan Xueyuan and more than 10 people from friendly countries came to Linglongshan forest farm for inspection and guidance. In 1992, the town cable TV station was built, with a total output of 23 TV programs. In 1994, the program-controlled telephone was opened and four program-controlled telephone villages were built. From 1994 to 1997, Zhejiang Linglong Paper Group Company, Tianlun group company and Hangzhou Hengtong group company emerged. In 1995, a total of 10 volumes of Linglong mountain records were published.

From 1995 to 1998, the town and village level invested 3.9 million yuan to build 31.5 kilometers of village level asphalt roads, and 6.9 million yuan to build 6370 square meters of teaching buildings and supporting facilities. In 1997, it invested 24 million yuan to build the West extension of Qianwang street, which is 1500 meters long and 40 meters wide.

Provincial title

Since 1988, the town cultural center has been awarded the national advanced program of "supplementing culture with culture", and invested more than 300000 yuan to build and transform cultural facilities again. At present, it has a 1050 seat theater, a comprehensive cultural building, a karaoke hall, a light court, etc., a library of more than 13000 books, and 10 grassroots libraries. In March 1998, it passed the provincial acceptance and won the title of Donghai cultural pearl in Zhejiang Province.

Renewal of educational school buildings

With the combination of town, village and individual, the school invested 7.5 million yuan to build 220 square meters of Hualong Yifu primary school, Linglong primary school and Jinxiu primary school, 120 square meters of Dongshan primary school, 2750 square meters of Linglong middle school teaching laboratory building, 1300 square meters of staff dormitory canteen and 350 meters of track and field playground.
