Gongnong town

Gongnong town is located at the junction of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, on the edge of gaoben mountain and Longmen Mountain, on the Bank of Jialing River. It is located in the north of Guangyuan suburb, the upper reaches of Jialing River, which is the throat. It is adjacent to Chaotian District of Guangyuan City in the north and the urban area of Guangyuan City in the south.

The main fruits are pear, peach, persimmon, apple, grape, pomegranate, Hejiawan plum, American red wine, etc. The territory is rich in mineral resources, coal, limestone, river sand and other mineral resources reserves, is one of the main production areas of Guangyuan coal mine. The annual output of coal is 300000 tons.

economic development

Walnut has become a unique industry in industrial and agricultural towns. In March 2007, the Party committee and government of Gongnong town based on the natural advantages, regarded walnut as the industrial development of "enriching the people and strengthening the town". Administrative division

In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Guangyuan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in four counties (districts), including Qingchuan county. Gongnong town was cancelled, and Qianfoya community, Ciyaopu community, Datang Village, Xiaotang village, Qianfo village, Xiaoyan village, Huxing village, liangya Village, Fengxiang village, Sankei village and Xuedi village of Gongnong town were put under the jurisdiction of Jialing sub district, Jialing sub district Shiling sub district office is located at 20 Rixin lane. The administrative area of the former Union Village of Gongnong town is under the jurisdiction of Shangxi street, which is located at 185 Zetian South Road.
