Hezhuang Street
Hezhuang street is a street under the jurisdiction of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, formerly known as Hezhuang Town, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. In 1992, the original Hezhuang Township, Xinwei Township and Qianjiang Township were merged into Hezhuang town. Due to the needs of the construction planning of dajiangdong new town, Hezhuang town was withdrawn in August 2009.
The street is located in the north of Xiaoshan District, the east of Hangzhou, on the South Bank of Qiantang River, adjacent to Yipeng and Nanyang, across the river from Hangzhou Xiasha economic and Technological Development Zone, South to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, 30 km from the center of Hangzhou, 20 km from the center of Xiaoshan District, and 15 km from gualicheng District, a small provincial city. It is the main platform of Jiangdong Industrial Park and the forward position of planning and construction of great Jiangdong new city.
Hezhuang Street covers an area of 69.2 square kilometers, which governs 20 administrative villages and 1 community with a population of 48047 (2010). Hezhuang is the birthplace of the indomitable and indomitable spirit of Xiaoshan reclamation, with rich cultural heritage. The Shang and Zhou cultural sites on the south slope of Shushan mountain and the Warring States kilns on the north slope are the key cultural relics protection units at the district level. In the past 10 years, Hezhuang's economy and society have developed rapidly, with an average annual growth rate of 10% - 20%. It has gradually formed an industrial system with chemical industry, textile printing and dyeing industry as the main body, and hardware machinery, knitted underwear, building materials, plastic molds, electronic appliances, vegetable food and other aspects of development.

Geography
Hezhuang street, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the north of Xiaoshan, near Toupeng town in the East, Xiaoshan International Airport in Hangzhou in the south, Yipeng and Nanyang streets in the south, Qiantang River in the northwest, Nansha dyke passing through. It is 15km away from Guali City, a small provincial city, 32km away from the center of Xiaoshan District, and 5km away from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. It is a sandy plain deposited by Qiantang River.
Covering an area of 88 square kilometers, the town has 21 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee, with a population of 43254 at the end of 2000. It is an important town in Xiaoshan reclamation area. Hezhuang has a long history. The Shang and Zhou cultural relics on the south slope of Shushan mountain and the Warring States kilns on the north slope are the key cultural relics protection units at the district level. Hezhuang is also the birthplace of modern reclamation spirit. In 1968, people of the whole region surrounded the beach of 36000 mu in Hezhuang, which opened the prelude of modern reclamation history of Xiaoshan.

economic development
In 2007, the industrial economic development of Hezhuang town maintained the momentum of "rapid growth". The total output value of industrial enterprises in the town reached 6.112 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.42%; the industrial output value reached 5.823 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.62%; the industrial sales output value reached 5.739 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.74%; the industrial sales output value above scale reached 4.796 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.97%. Agricultural basic economy highlights the advantage of "adjusting structure". In 2007, the total agricultural output value of the town reached 4.03 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers reached 13388 yuan. The agricultural industrial structure has become more reasonable, and the four leading industries have achieved steady growth.
On the way forward, Hezhuang has also won many honors. In 1995, it was named Xiaokang town in Hangzhou, in 1997, it was named the first batch of strong education towns in Hangzhou, in 1999, it was named Donghai culture pearl town in Hangzhou, in 2000, it was named new rural town in Hangzhou, and in 2001, it became a municipal health town in Hangzhou.
With the implementation of cross river and along river development strategy in Hangzhou urban construction, the urban center of gravity gradually moves eastward and expands southward. Hezhuang town is located in the center of the northeast of Xiaoshan. The Nanxin line crosses the south of the town. Yongfeng Road in the market town has been connected from east to west. The Hangzhou Jinzhou Quzhou Expressway and the sixth Qianjiang bridge under construction will make the geographical advantage of Hezhuang increasingly prominent.

In 1978, Qianjiang agricultural machinery factory, the first industrial enterprise run by Qianjiang commune, was built.
In 1980, with an investment of nearly 200000 yuan, Hezhuang theater with 1167 seats was built and put into operation.
In April 1982, Liangzhu Cultural Site of Shang and Zhou Dynasties was discovered in Shushan, Shunan village. A jade wall unearthed from the site is now in Zhejiang Museum. In 1983, it was named as a county-level cultural relic protection unit by the people's Government of Xiaoshan county.
In October 1985, Qianjiang dyeing and weaving factory with a joint investment of 1 million yuan by Qianjiang Township and Hangmin village was built and put into operation; in the same year, Hezhuang Township Health Center was named Zhejiang civilized health center.
In October 1989, Hangzhou Baihe Chemical Co., Ltd. (formerly Jiangnan pigment factory) was built and put into operation.
From 1990 to 1991, it was named Hangzhou sericulture Town by Hangzhou Municipal People's government.
In 1991, Xinwei Township, the first reclamation Township in Xiaoshan, celebrated its 20th anniversary.
In May 1992, Xinwei Township, Qianjiang Township and Hezhuang Township were merged into Hezhuang Town, and a cultural festival was held at the end of the year.
In August 1993, Hangzhou Far East Knitting Garment Co., Ltd., the first Sino foreign joint venture in the town, was established.
