Yanghong town
Yanghong Town, belonging to Qian County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the east of Qian county. It is adjacent to Lingyuan town in the East, Dayang town in the south, Chengguan Street in the West and Zhugan town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 10 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 6.5 kilometers, with a total area of 40.46 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Yanghong town has eight administrative villages. As of 2018, Yang Hong town has 25004 registered residence population. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Yanghong town reached 105 million yuan, and the total industrial output value reached 15 million yuan.
Historical evolution
In the Qing Dynasty, it was the largest agricultural trade distribution center in Qianzhou. It was named yanghongdian in the grand sense, so it became the name of today's town.
Yanghongli was set up in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Yangzhuang Lianbao and later changed to Yanghong township.
In 1949, it later belonged to Yangzhuang district.
In 1956, the former Yanghong Township, Yangzhuang Township and HAOSI Township were established as Yanghong township.
In 1958, Yanghong commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed to Yanghong township.
In December 1997, the township was removed to build a town.

Yanghong town is located at the junction of the southern margin of the Ordos platform and the Weihe Fault Basin. In the northern part of the territory, along the Ganhe River Basin, the terrain is slightly undulating; in the southern and central part, it was called yanghongdian beach in ancient times, with flat terrain and fertile soil. Generally, the altitude is 500-836m.
