Xuwei Street

Xuwei street is located in the southeast of Lianyungang City, with a total planning and management area of 247.6 square kilometers. It starts from the center line of liuxugang River in the north, West to the West Bank of shaoxiangzhi River (including Xianghe village and dongzoushan Village), South to the center line of Shanhou River and qiehe River, North Bank of cuanzikou (including Xuxu wetland), and east to the seawall. The streets are governed by Xuxu port, Lingang industrial area, Xuwei salt farm and Xin Gao Wei community, East Village and Xianghe village. The registered residence population is 8000 and the floating population is 30000. The coastline is 28 kilometers long, with more than 1300 hectares of beaches and 530 hectares of arable land. In 2015, the per capita net income of Xuwei Street farmers was 19542.6 yuan, an increase of 10% compared with 2014.
