ShuoLong town
ShuoLong Town, subordinate to Daxin County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Daxin County, adjacent to Leiping and Naling towns in the East, Baowei Township in the southeast, Jinlong town in Longzhou County in the south, xialang and Chongqing counties in Gaoping Province in Vietnam across the river in the southwest, Fuxin Township in Tiandeng county and Xialei town in Daxin County in the north. The administrative area of ShuoLong town is 169.36 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Shulong town registered residence was 13582.
In August 1952, it was a minefield in Daxin County. In 1958, it was a satellite commune. In 1962, under the minefield. In 1968, ShuoLong commune was established. In 1984, ShuoLong commune was transformed into ShuoLong township. On April 13, 1992, ShuoLong township was changed into ShuoLong town. ShuoLong town is high in the West and low in the East, high in the north and low in the south. The terrain is divided into hills and mountains. The main mountains are xidaming mountain. The highest peak of Badan is located in butun, Xiangkou village, with an altitude of 784 meters. The lowest point of hongniling is located in Zhaotun, ShuoLong community, with an altitude of 324 meters.
climate
ShuoLong town has a subtropical monsoon climate with abundant sunshine, abundant rainfall, less frost and no snow, mild climate, long summer and short winter, annual average temperature of 20.5 ℃ ~ 22.0 ℃, average temperature of 12.0 ℃ ~ 13.9 ℃ in January, and average temperature of 27.0 ℃ ~ 28.7 ℃ in July. The annual precipitation is 1087 ~ 1644 mm, with moderate precipitation. The precipitation in summer accounts for 48% ~ 56% of the annual precipitation, and the precipitation in winter accounts for 4% ~ 8%, which is wet in summer and dry in winter. The annual sunshine hours are 1560 ~ 1910 hours.
hydrology
ShuoLong town has Heishui River, Guichun River and Yuejin canal running through the whole town. Guihe river originates from e-quan in Jingxi County of Baise City, flows southward into Vietnam, and then flows back to China in ShuoLong town of Daxin County, becoming the boundary river between China and Vietnam. There are Detian waterfall and Banyue waterfall in Detian village of ShuoLong Town, and Heishui river flows into Zuojiang River downstream.

The main natural disasters in ShuoLong town are hail, drought, flood, low temperature, frost, lightning and so on. From late March to early April in 1981, ShuoLong commune had four big hailstorms, and 200 house tiles were damaged. From July 16 to 25, 1994, ShuoLong town had a series of rainstorms, the daily maximum precipitation was 382 mm, and the total rainfall was 622.8 mm. 72 natural villages in 10 villages of ShuoLong town suffered from different degrees of flood disaster. 356 houses of 119 households were flooded, 76 houses collapsed; 32 teaching sites were flooded, 9 houses collapsed; 7642 mu of crops were flooded, including 2188 mu of early rice, 1547 mu of early and middle corn, and 3266 mu of soybean Other economic crops are 641 mu. It flooded and destroyed 250 fish ponds (169 mu), 46 water conservancy facilities (2.17 km), 30 highways (8 km) and 4 bridges; it submerged 14 water pumps, 2 power stations, 6 transformers, 12 km high-voltage lines, more than 3000 meters of telephone lines and 72 hours of communication interruption, resulting in a direct economic loss of 7.516 million yuan.

In the total population, there are 7136 males, accounting for 56.52%, and 5490 females, accounting for 43.48%. There were 1902 people under 14 years old, accounting for 15.06%; 9412 people between 15 and 64 years old, accounting for 74.54%; 1312 people over 65 years old, accounting for 10.40%. In the total population, the Zhuang nationality is the main one, accounting for 12386, accounting for 98.1%; there are also three ethnic groups, namely Han, Miao and Dong.
