Zhu yinggeng, born in Yuxi, Yunnan Province in January 1922, graduated from the Department of economics of Southwest Associated University in 1944 with a master's degree in economics from Michigan University. He once taught at Yunnan University and was a member of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference. He died in Kunming at 7:45 a.m. on November 6, 2004 at the age of 83.

Zhu yinggeng was born in January 1922 in Yuxi, Yunnan Province. He graduated from the Department of economics of Southwest Associated University in 1944. After studying in the United States, he received a master's degree in economics from the University of Michigan. He returned to China in December 1949 and has been teaching in Yunnan University. Since 1980, he has successively served as director of the Department of economics of Yunnan University, vice chairman of the Liberal Arts Committee of Yunnan University, President of Yunnan economic society, director of the National Institute of finance, foreign economic theory research association, American economic society, China International Finance Society and other academic organizations, and master's supervisor of economics. He was a member of the fifth Yunnan Provincial Committee of the CPPCC in 1983, a member of the Standing Committee of the sixth Yunnan Provincial Committee of the CPPCC in 1988, and a vice chairman of the sixth and seventh Yunnan Provincial Committee of the CPPCC after March 1992. He died in Kunming at 7:45 am on November 6, 2004 at the age of 83.
