Jinchang (1759-1828), with the name of jianzhai, was the owner of Hongli, the imperial clan of Qing Dynasty, and a native of Zhenglan Banner in Manchuria.
He is a descendant of emperor Taiji of the Qing Dynasty, the fifth grandson of Prince Gong Changning, and the eldest son of Gushan Beizi and Mingshao. He was born on the 17th of the first month of the 24th year of Qianlong and died on the 2nd of the eighth year of Daoguang. In the fifth year of Jiaqing, he became general of Shengjing, and in August of the eighth year, he was dismissed. Later, he was transferred to Wushi as a minister in charge of affairs by the zongrenfu, and successively served as counselor Minister of Kashgar, general uliyasutai, general ILI, general Dutong of Urumqi, general Shengjing, etc.
