Zhang Xiaoyuan is a poet of Tang Dynasty. He is a native of Wujun (now Suzhou).
Later, he moved to Wujiang, Hezhou (now Wujiang Town, Hexian County, Anhui Province). Zhang's native place is called "Shuke" or "Shuren" (today's Sichuan). Xianzong Yuanhe eight years (813) ascended Jinshi, official history is unknown. Gongshi is as famous as shuyuanyu. Zhang Wei's "the poet's subject and object" listed it as one of the most magnificent and beautiful masters of Wu Yuanheng. There are three poems in Quan Tang Shi, i.e. walking on spring ice, watching lanterns and sending palace people to the road. In Ming Dynasty, Zhu chengjue thought that the poem "sending the palace people into the Tao" was especially graceful and could be recited in the works of the Tang Dynasty. There are also some scattered sentences and incomplete sentences.
