In the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, Ju Ren was the 13th grandson of Zhu Wenhuan.
He followed the generals Chen Bangyan, Zhang Shuyu and Chen Zizhuang in the late Ming Dynasty to fight against the Qing Dynasty (collectively known as the Guangdong anti Qing three loyalists). He led the sons of Shangyue and xiayue to defend Qingyuan County. Li Chengdong, the general of the Qing Dynasty, was trapped in Qingcheng and slaughtered 40000 people. Zhu Xuexi didn't want to be a slave of the subjugated state, so he hanged himself in his clothes and was later named Zhonghe.
