Zhang Zongtai (1776-1852), a calligrapher and scholar in Qing Dynasty. Word ball Zhai, No. Luyan. He is from Lushan, Henan Province. He was originally from the sheep feeding village in Yiluo, Yanshi county. In the 26th year of Qianlong's reign, because of flood, the house was submerged and moved to Zhongliu village, Lushan County. Jiaqing 12 years (1807) held in the township, Daoguang 2 years (1822) selected Xiuwu County Confucian teaching instructions. In 1843, he was promoted to Professor of Henan Fuxue. In 1852, he died in Luoyang and was buried in Guotun village in the south of Xiuwu County.

He has a collection of 30000 volumes. He is diligent in collation. Every time he reads a book, he often has notes. He is familiar with bibliography, and is good at reading bibliography, postscript and secretary. He is known as "Zhou Zhengtang second". He wrote 15 volumes of Lu Yan Suo Xue Ji, in which the preface and postscript of the catalogue are mostly included, including the bibliography of basun's ancestral hall, the bibliography of basun's ancestral hall, the bibliography of basun's ancestral hall, the bibliography of Jingxue and primary school, the bibliography of basao Gongwu qunzhai, the bibliography of Basu Houzhi, the bibliography of basao xibian, and the bibliography of baschen Zhensun. Zhongzhou Ji Lue is a collection of 445 literary works of Henan people from Han Dynasty to Yuan Dynasty. The description and citation are quite detailed. The classical cataloguers have a high evaluation of it in Xinxia. He has 15 volumes of Lu Yan's collected works, one volume of Jiaoyou Ji and two volumes of Jiaoyou Yushi manuscript.
