Shi Shufan (1904-1979) was born in Zhitang village of Kandun street. He was named as Shiran, laoran and shuran.
Life experience
He studied in a private school in a neighboring village for the first time. He was a teacher for a long time, specializing in history, poetry and prose. After that, he coached in the neighborhood. In the autumn of 1933, he formed a "crying society" with Deng Sanmu and others in Shanghai. In 1935, he served as secretary of Shanghai Yousheng travel group. After the September 18th Incident, patriotic movements rose all over the country. Shi Shufan published articles in the news and Shenbao, advocating the Anti Japanese war. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, he successively served as a teacher of Yuyao Shihuo middle school, Secretary of Yuyao county's grain transportation and marketing department, and member of the Standing Committee of Yuyao Anti Japanese Self Defense Committee. He actively participated in the Anti Japanese and national salvation work, and wrote editorials to attack current malpractices and uphold justice, which was in line with public opinion. In April 1941, Yuyao fell into the enemy's hands, and Xintang established Yaobei self defense committee with Shi Shufan as the deputy director. In July, it also organized and established "Yaobei Anti Japanese self defense brigade" as the leader to fight against rape and violence. The enemy and the puppets hated it and offered a reward of ten thousand yuan to buy its head. Shi Shufan was threatened and had to leave his hometown in autumn. He left his hometown in the mountains and waters of eastern and Western Zhejiang. Every time he encouraged his officers and soldiers with his poems, his poems were collected as "poetry in exile" and passed on. Later, it was recommended by Lin Ze, the head of Yuyao county. after the victory of the Anti Japanese War, Shi Shufan returned to Shanghai to meet with Tang Yun, Deng Sanmu, Sha Qianli, Yang Dabang and other old friends, often entertaining himself with wine and literature. After the founding of new China, Shi Shufan studied in revolutionary University. After graduation, I worked in Zhejiang branch of PetroChina. In 1952, he was wrongly classified as a "historical counter revolution", sentenced to one year's imprisonment and repatriated to his native place. In 1964, he wrote more than 10 historical materials for the compilation and preparation office of yaoci county annals. On May 6, 1979, he died at his daughter's home in Langxia Town, Yuyao, at the age of 76. He was rehabilitated in 1986. Shi Shufan wrote more than 1500 poems in his life, and his travel notes and poems were serialized in Ta Kung Pao. In the "Cultural Revolution", most of the poems were lost. Later, his son searched for more than 450 ancient poems and modern poems and compiled Shi Shufan's Poems (first draft).
