A brief history of characters
Li Zhen, whose name is Yanhui, was born in late Yuan Dynasty in Xinhui, Guangdong Province. When he was a child, he studied four books and five classics with his father, who was a scholar in other prefectures. Later, he learned from sunben, Shunde, and made great progress in writing poems and compositions. Especially under the influence of sunben, he attached great importance to moral cultivation. He also liked to distinguish the ups and downs of ancient and modern times, gains and losses, and had unique opinions. In the early years of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, he entered the county to study as a student. In 1375, he was recommended to Beijing by Ming Jing. As a rule, he had to go to the Ministry of official affairs to take an examination before appointing officials. He was very dissatisfied and said that he was too sick to take the examination. When they met the officials of the Ministry of official affairs, they made a lot of comments. There is no taboo. Officials thought that he was very learned, so they asked him to stay in Beijing to discuss etiquette, music and anecdotes. It took more than two months to send him out of Beijing. Only after he returned home did he receive the appointment of Xinhui County discipline. Li Zhen refused to accept the post, but built a Diaoyutai in front of her bedroom in the metropolis village, where she spent her days fishing and lived a semi reclusive and semi academic life. In the 18th year of Hongwu (1385), Li Zhen was falsely accused by powerful officials for helping out the rural disputes, and was released to serve in Liaoyang for 13 years. As a prisoner, he still studied hard and was respected by prison officials. In the meantime, sun Ben, the teacher who met him, was falsely accused of being sent to Liaoyang. Together with the ban, teachers and students exchanged knowledge and made more progress. Later sun Ben was killed for the crime of "Treason" and abandoned his body to serve the wild. Li Zhen risked her life, wrapped her body in clothes, buried her body in Anshan, and wrote a sacrificial passage to read out. All the people who heard it shed tears. In the 30th year of Hongwu, Li Zhen was pardoned and returned to her hometown. She taught in the countryside and became a famous scholar in Xinhui in the early Ming Dynasty. Chen Xianzhang commented on Mr. shupo and said, "my city is backward in teaching by writing. For more than a hundred years, Mr. shupo has been alone." According to Qu Yue, Li Zhen's Theory: "Mr. Baisha (referring to Chen Xianzhang) flourished at the time of Daohua and zhouqia, while Mr. shupo rose at the day of the establishment of cultural administration." This shows that Mr. shupo's academic thought played an advocacy role in the deepening of Neo Confucianism in the middle of Ming Dynasty. After death in the township, 59 years old, into the worship Xiangxian temple.
