Yang Yi (?)? He was born in Xiangyang (now Xiangyang, Hubei Province), and was an official of the Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period. At first, he was the chief book of Fu Qun, the governor of Jingzhou. Later, he went to Guan Yu and became a meritorious Cao. Guan Yu sent him to Chengdu, which was greatly appreciated by Liu Bei and promoted to minister. Because of the discord with Shangshu, Liu BA was transferred to Hongnong Taishou. In the third year of Jianxing (225), he served as prime minister and joined the army. Since then, he has been fighting with Zhuge Liang. Liang Bing, he deployed a safe retreat. Zhuge Liang appointed Jiang Wan to succeed him, while Yang Yi only worshipped the Chinese army. In the 13th year of Jianxing (235), because of many complaints, he was dismissed and exiled to Hanjia county. However, Yang Yi still did not reflect on herself, and then wrote a libel. Her words were fierce. Finally, she went to prison and committed suicide.

In the 12th year of Jianxing (234), Yang Yi followed Zhuge Liang out of the army to tunzhagukou. Zhuge Liang died of illness on the battlefield. Yang Yi not only led his troops to retreat, but also attacked and killed Wei Yan. He thought that he had made great contributions and should take over Zhuge Liang's power. So he called on Du Wei Zhao Zheng to use the book of changes to divine, saying that the hexagram was "family". Yang Yi was silent.

In 235, Yang Yi was abandoned as a civilian and exiled to Hanjia county. When Yang Yi arrived at the exile, he wrote a libel again in a fierce tone, so the imperial court sent people down to the county to catch him. Yang Yi committed suicide and his wife, children and children returned to Shu.

When Zhuge Liang died, Yang ordered Fei Yi to explore Wei Yan's intention. Wei Yan replied: "although the prime minister died, there is still me. How can one's death lead to the neglect of world affairs? Besides, who am I, Wei Yan? How can I be manipulated by Yang Yi to be a general after the end of the war? "
All the troops retreated slowly with Yang Yi. Wei Yan was furious and went day and night in front of Yang Yi's army. All the places he passed by burned out the attic road. Yang Yi and Wei Yan both show each other that Liu Chan is plotting against each other. Liu Chan asks Dong Yun and Shi Jiangwan who want to rebel. Dong and Jiang both guarantee that Yang Yi suspects Wei Yan. Wei Yanxian occupied nangukou and led his army to attack Yang Yi. Yang Yi ordered Wang Ping to resist Wei Yan. Wang Ping scolded Wei Yan's vanguard: "Duke Zhuge has passed away and his bones are not cold. How dare you people do that?" Wei Yan's army knew that it was Wei Yan's fault. They didn't listen to Wei Yan's orders and dispersed. Only Wei Yan and his sons fled to Hanzhong. Yang Yi sent Ma Dai to catch up with Wei Yan, cut him off, and offered his head to Yang Yi. Yang Yi trampled on Wei Yan's head with her feet and scolded: "Yong Nu! Can you do evil again? " So the Wei and Yan tribes were killed.
The above is recorded in the annals of the Three Kingdoms. However, according to Wei Lue, it was Wei Yan who was entrusted military power by Zhuge Liang. For fear that Wei Yan would take the opportunity to harm him, Yang Yi made a rumor that Wei Yan would go north to join the enemy and attack him. However, Wei Yan, who was falsely accused, was so afraid of fighting that he was innocent that he could not fight, so he only escaped without fighting. Finally, he was hunted down.
Pei Songzhi thinks that this is only a rumor in the Cao Wei period, and Chen Shou's official history of the Shu Han Dynasty, the annals of the Three Kingdoms, is more reliable than Wei Lue.

After Yang Yibao and Zhuge Liang's coffin returned to Chengdu, Liu Chan appointed him the commander of the Chinese army. However, Yang Yi often complained because she was unwilling to be subordinate to Jiang Wan, and even said that she would rather vote for Wei at the beginning. Fei Yi confided Yang Yi's words to his later master, who was furious and demoted Yang Yi to Hanjia County as a common people. Yang Yi felt ashamed and finally committed suicide.
