Ma Datong (844-915), whose name is Fengji, was born in Yuezhou (now Shaoxing) of Tang Dynasty. He is the ancestor of MA in Maoling, Dongyang City, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. In the fifth year of Xiantong (864), he served as the magistrate of Dongyang county. Eight years later, when his term expired, he moved to the foot of Songshan Mountain in Dongyang City. The tomb is located in matangwu (now Qianxiang matangwu in Dongyang) in Songshan, the capital of the fifty first capital of Dongyang.
