Wang xuanzhi (326-357), whose name is Boyuan, was born in Linyi, Langya (now Linyi, Shandong Province), the eldest son of Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and a worker of cursive script and official script.
Life of the characters
In 353, Emperor mu of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Wang xuanzhi took part in the Lanting party hosted by his father Xizhi. He wrote a poem at the Lanting gathering: "pine and bamboo stand on the cliff, and the secluded stream excites the clear flow. Dissipate wanton emotions, free from stagnant worries. "
