On October 11, 2014, Wang's descendants reported to the media that their findings confirmed the genealogy and the legend that Wang Yanbin was buried in Yuntai Mountain in Fengzhou (now Xiamei). On the hillside of Yuntai Mountain, there are many sites and stone components, such as rammed earth walls, pillar foundations of villas with a diameter of about 1 meter, flagpole stones with a length of more than 1 meter, and well preserved caves. It is said that when Wang Yanbin built the "villa" at that time, he ordered people to take soil here to burn the tiles and ceramics needed. In Jinkeng Wang's genealogy, the mountain map of Wang Yanbin's tomb and Yuntai temple is highly consistent with the architectural relics found during the visit.
