Xu Yuanbo, a righteous man, was very dissatisfied with the barbaric behavior of the Qing soldiers. First, he refused to cut his hair, and then stabbed 12 characters in his arms and chest: "born as a wise man, die as a wise ghost, worthy of this dynasty.". The traitor was arrested by the Qing authorities after the informer, died generously, and his wife Zhu was assigned to ningguta as a slave. Wang Xiong's wife Liu went to ningguta on behalf of Zhu. Wang Xiong and his wife stayed in ningguta to do hard labor together.
Later, when Mao Bijiang learned the truth, he admired the love behavior of Wang Jiezi and his wife. He sent people to the Mongolian pagoda to redeem Wang Xiong and his wife, welcome them to the water painting garden, and respect them as guests of honor until they die.
