Duan Yizong (? - 923?) is an ancestor of Bai nationality and a famous minority poet in dachanghe country.
He was the Qingping official of Nanzhao Wang longshun, dachanghe and zhengrenmin. He was an envoy of Nanzhao to Tang Dynasty. During Qiande (919-924), he was an envoy of dachanghe to Qianshu. Because he didn't want to worship, he cut his hair to be a monk. He was good at words and worked in poetry. His poetry was widely spread in the mainland at that time and was highly praised. For example, the title of Paeonia lactiflora in Daci Temple, the title of Jinglou in sanxueyuan, the title of betraying the official and praising Weiyou to listen to the songs of prostitute Dong Yunge, etc., are known as "such a production, it's really a master". Dong Yunge is widely copied in Shu, and its homesick poem is included in the whole Tang poetry. Baidu Encyclopedia content is shared by netizens.
