Zhang Zhong

Zhang Zhong, whose name is Guangming, is called Zhongfu. According to legend, it is the 58th ancestor of Zhang. King xuanwang of Zhou was a senior minister, who lived in Fangshan (Qinghe County, Beijing) and moved to Jianzhou. Together with Yin Jifu, he helped King Xuan of Zhou to revive the Zhou Dynasty. According to historical records, Zhang Zhong lived before and after the implementation of Republican administration in the Zhou Dynasty. At that time, King li of Zhou Dynasty was overthrown by the Chinese because of his immorality, and escaped from the palace. The ministers of the central court promoted Gonghe Bodai to be the son of heaven. The first year of the Republic of China (841 BC) is the beginning of the exact chronology in Chinese history. 14 years later, Zhou Liwang died in * (now Huo county) in Shanxi province. Gongbo asked Prince Taizi Jing to ascend the throne. Relying on a group of ministers, King Xuan of Zhou revived the national power and conquered Rong and Di, and made considerable achievements. In history, he was called "King Xuan Zhongxing". In the year of Jianyan of Song Dynasty, he was granted the title of emperor Wenwu, loyal, filial and benevolent. Yanyou of Yuan Dynasty was granted the title of emperor Lu of Wenchang of Kaihua of Yuan Dynasty. Temples (Wenchang Pavilion) have been built all over the country to commemorate the festival, which is deeply worshipped by the people.
