Lin Yaoting (1868-1936) was named Binghuang, also known as Lianhui. He was named Yaoting and Shouzhuo. Later, his family had a mansion called shudeju. He was a resident of shudeju. His house was called Bitang. He was from shuzijiaozhuang (now southwest of Taichung City) in lanxingbao, Taichung hall.
His ancestral home is Pinghe, Zhangzhou, Fujian. He was born on November 10, 1868. As a child, he was taught four books, five classics and a hundred schools of thought in Songyue library. In 1893, he was admitted to Taiwan County school as a student. During the Japanese occupation period, he was appointed as a counselor of Taichung office in 1897, and was recommended as a member of the Academic Affairs Committee of Taichung public school in the following year to supervise Li Fengjiao; he was appointed as the head of shuzijiao District in 1900; he was entrusted by Taichung District Court in 1901, and granted the seal of peishen in August the following year; he was appointed as a local member of Taichung farmers' Association in the winter of 1903; he was appointed as the joint president of shuzijiao Baozheng and Baojia in 1910; he was appointed as the founding member of Taichung middle school in 1915; he was appointed as the president of Taichung farmers' Association in 1917 Taichung District head, and Taichung City agreement member. In addition, he also holds the posts of many kinds of non-governmental organizations, such as the head of Taichung miguzhong buyer Association, the director of Xingye credit association, the inspector of Zhenxiang colonization Co., Ltd., the head of housheng credit purchase, sale and Utilization Association, the councilor of Taichung Xingnong initiative, the supervisor of Taichung citizen's hall, etc. He devoted himself to local construction, especially to education. In 1936 (11 years of Showa), he died of illness on September 24, 1969. In 1920, he joined the oak society as a member. There are two volumes of "Song Yue Shu Shi Yin Cao", which are recorded and stored for his zhe Si Tang pan. There are more than 500 ancient and modern poems, which were printed in 1940.
