Li Yunfang
Li Yunfang (1717-1755), a native of Liangzhou Prefecture, was named Xiangzhou, Gaiyu hall and zuixue nunnery. He was one of the 33 Jinshi in the second grade of Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty. He served as magistrate of Shicheng County in Jiangxi Province.
In 1752, Li Yunfang passed the Renshen provincial examination in spring and the Renshen provincial examination in autumn.
Life of the characters
In 1742, Li Yunfang went to Xi'an to take part in the joint examination of students in Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. He praised Hu zhongzao, a scholar in Shaanxi Province, for his essay "Ode to the Yellow River", and won the second place in the northwest. In March of 1755, the 20th year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, Li Yunfang, a man surnamed Hu, had a new book stolen from the fire and kept it secretly because of the Jiangxi officialdom's thorough investigation of Li Yunfang's poems. This manuscript is the original edition of Li Yunfang's notes on poems, which has been preserved and sorted out recently.
Character evaluation
During his tenure in Shicheng, Li Yunfang paid close attention to the people's livelihood. "There are officials and talents, and the people call him Duan. For a long time, Xiangzhou has been happy to be a magistrate." During the spring drought, Li Yunfang went to the remote mountainous areas to inspect irrigation. He once complained about the injustice of the people and issued a warning that "he often gives his hard work to others, but he still refuses to give it to the sun.". "In the spare time of the book, I still write constantly, and I like to speak poems, and the names of poems are complex." Li Yunfang wrote a lot in his short life.
