In the 21st year of Kaiyuan (733), Jinshi (Biography of Tang Caizi) was named "Jinshi in the 11th year of Kaiyuan". According to Xu Song's Dengke Ji Kao, Xu Zheng was the number one scholar in the 21st year of Kaiyuan, so "the 11th year of Kaiyuan" should be regarded as the mistake of "the 21st year of Kaiyuan". He transferred Luoyang Wei and moved to Xia County Magistrate. He is noble in nature, does not admire glory and profit, and makes friends with many mountain monks and Taoists. He once planned to live in seclusion in Lushan temple, but failed. He died in his early years.
Liu shexu is one of the famous poets in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Zheng Chuhui juxtaposed him with Wang Changling, Chang Jian, Li Bai, Du Fu and others in Ming Huang Za Lu, saying that "although the articles are well-known, they are not even exiled" (quoted in Tang Shi Ji Shi). Yan Yu also referred to him as a "great master" (textual research on Canglang Poetry) with the four heroes of Shen Song, early Tang, Chen Zi'ang, Wang Wei and Wei Ying Wu. Yin Yu wrote a collection of heroes in Heyue, which was not only precise but also selected 11 of his poems, saying that he had "deep feelings and far prosperity, bitter thoughts and strange words". If you suddenly get something, you will be shocked. He had a deep friendship with Meng Haoran, such as "send Meng Haoran from the Yangtze River in late autumn"; after Meng died, he also had "send six posthumous essays from Jiang Tao to Meng", which had the meaning of kenzhi. The theme, system and artistic conception of his poems are similar to those of Mencius, but in the light and distant, he has a deep and steep interest, and he has a new way out of Mencius. The song "Tao is exhausted by white clouds" in que ti is the most representative of this style.
There are 15 poems in Quan Tang Shi, among which the works of others are basically those recorded in he Yue Ying Ling Ji. His deeds can be seen in the chronicle of Tang poetry and biography of Tang gifted scholars.
