Li Mao
（？ Li Qing was born in Didao (now Qin'an County, Gansu Province). Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, the 18th son of Li Longji, is a royal family minister. His mother is Wu huifei.
He was raised by Li Xian, the king of Ning. In the 13th year of Kaiyuan (725), he was granted the title of Shouwang and led the governor of Yizhou and the Jiedushi of Jiannan. In the 23rd year (735), he changed his name to Li Mao and married Yang Yuhuan. In 740, he ended his marriage with Yang Yuhuan. In 745, Tianbao married Wei zhaoxun's daughter. After an Shi rebellion, he followed Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty and fled to Shu county to comfort the soldiers.
In the 10th year of Dali (775), he passed away and was awarded to Taifu.

. In the first year of Kaiyuan, Empress Wu huifei was favored by Xuanzong, and all her sons died young. Therefore, when Li Mao was born, Xuanzong gave him the residence of Li Xian, the elder brother of ningwang. The yuan family, Li Xian's concubine, nursed him and regarded him as his own son. Li Mao lived in ningwang house for more than ten years. The palace called him eighteen Lang.

When Li Mao was seven years old, he paid a visit to his elder brother Li Li, the king of Yongwang, which was in line with the etiquette. Xuanzong saw his talent. In March of the 13th year of Kaiyuan (725), he was granted the title of Shouwang and entered the palace. In the 26th year of Kaiyuan (738), Li Linfu and others actively supported Li Mao, and Gao Lishi recommended Li Yu (Li Heng), the third son of the emperor, as the crown prince.
Imperial concubine is father's favorite
After the death of his mother, Wu huifei, Xuanzong's concubines had no intention of being emperor, and his wife, Yang, became Xuanzong's new favorite. In 740, Xuanzong ordered yang to become a nun. His marriage with the Yang family ended, and there is no official historical data to show that they had children. Folk legend says they had a daughter.
Li Xian, the king of Ning, died in 741. He regarded Li Xian as his adoptive father and mourned in return for his kindness. In the fourth year of Tianbao (745), Wei zhaoxun's daughter, Wei Shi, was named Princess Shou. At the same time, his ex-wife, Yang Shi, was named princess by the emperor.
South to Sichuan
In the first year of Zhide (756), after an Shi rebellion broke out, Xuanzong went to Shu, and Li Mao went with him. On the way, Chen Xuanli killed Yang Guozhong and forced Xuanzong to kill Yang Guifei. Xuanzong ordered Li Mao to comfort the soldiers. Emperor Xuanzong ordered Li Heng, the crown prince, to stay to resist the enemy. Later, Li Heng called himself Emperor. He was Emperor suzong of the Tang Dynasty and respected Xuanzong as emperor.
In 775, Emperor zongdali of the Tang Dynasty passed away and presented it to Taifu.
Anecdotes and allusions
Shouwang was a tragic figure in history. He had been married to Yang Yuhuan, but he was granted imperial edict. Life is pretty good. After Wu huifei's death, the lonely Emperor Xuanzong began to seek a new lover. But with three thousand beauties in the palace, he took a fancy to his daughter-in-law, Yang Yuhuan. So there is the story of entering the pear garden, entering the Taoist temple, and being a concubine. However, for Shouwang, this is so painful and hard to say.
