Kubuqi national Desert Park Qixing Lake scenic spot is a national 4A level desert eco-tourism resort invested and built by Yili resources group, a world-famous desert green economy enterprise, on the basis of its 28 years of desert control. It has been successively rated as "the first batch of low-carbon eco-tourism demonstration scenic spots in China", "National Water Conservancy Scenic Spot", "national desert tourism experimental base" and "er'er" DOS City National desert Geopark, China Desert (Seven Star Lake) automobile cross-country training base, China's most beautiful desert star watching place, and China's top ten theme hotels. In 2011, it was designated as the permanent site of "Kubuqi international desert forum" by the United Nations. Qixing Lake scenic spot is located in Hangjin Banner, Ordos City, with Beijing Tibet highway and National Highway 110 in the north, national highways 109 and 201 in the south, first-class highway along the Yellow River and Baomao highway, 360 km away from Hohhot City, 160 km away from Baotou City and 260 km away from Ordos City It is surrounded by Bayannaoer airport, Baotou Airport and Ordos International Airport, with convenient transportation and advantageous geographical location.
