Ruijing cave was developed in the late Cambrian banded dolomitic limestone 500 million years ago. The entrance of the cave is south. According to the natural combination, the cave body is divided into seven halls, with a width of 35-50 meters, a height of 10-57 meters and a length of 460 meters. The total fall is 121 meters and 6 meters, covering an area of 28000 square meters. The scale of cave hall, the fall of Dongting Lake and the grade of cave scenery are rare in China. Outside the cave, there are green hills, winding water, fresh air and quiet environment. The stalactites in the cave have all the varieties and common gorgeous and peculiar features of karst caves. There are many stalagmites, stone pillars and stone pagodas piled up by travertine, and their images are changeable. Or "Dragon Girl shepherd", or "boy worships Guanyin", or "three towers stand in the balance", or "three pools print the moon", or "a hundred boats compete for the current", or "reflection of white sails".

The round headed stalagmites at the bottom of the cave are like "unearthed turnips" all over the ground. Thousands of stone flowers on the east side of the cave are densely distributed on the surface of the cave top, which is about 600 square meters. Some of them are like the national color and natural fragrance, some are like autumn chrysanthemums, and some are like the flowers competing for spring.

Transportation guide

Starting from Shanghai: self driving: take the Shanghai Hangzhou Expressway, get off at the north exit of Hangzhou, pass the toll station, take the provincial highway 02 (the future Hangzhou Huizhou Expressway) in the direction of Lin'an, which is also the direction of Huangshan in Anhui Province, pass Lin'an and Changhua, and reach ruijingshihua cave for 28 km.
