Tao Xingzhi Memorial
Tao Xingzhi was born in huangtanyuan village, Shexian County, Anhui Province in 1891. He is a great contemporary people's educator, educational thinker, outstanding democratic fighter, great patriot and great communist fighter. Guo Moruo once praised: "Kong Zhongni 2000 years ago, Tao Xingzhi 2000 years later.". In memory of Tao Xingzhi, the people's educator, Tao Xingzhi memorial hall was built in Shexian County, Anhui Province, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province and Shanghai in the 1980s with the approval of the provincial (municipal) Party committee and provincial (municipal) government.

Shexian County, Anhui Province
Anhui Tao Xingzhi memorial hall is located in Zhonghe street, Huizhou ancient city, Shexian County, Anhui Province, overlooking Wenzheng mountain in the East, Changqing tower in the south, Xuguo stone square in the West and Chongyi school in the north. Built in 1984, the memorial hall is composed of a viewing hall, an image display hall, a painting and calligraphy hall and five large exhibition halls. It covers an area of 1700 square meters, with a construction area of 3600 square meters. The design of Hui style architecture is of the style of powder wall, dark tile and high ridge cornice. The East and West gates of the memorial hall are inscribed by Hu Yaobang and Hu Jue Wen respectively. In 1996, Tao Xingzhi memorial hall was named as one of the "100 national patriotic education bases for primary and secondary schools" by six ministries and commissions including the State Education Commission; in 1997, it was announced as one of the "100 national patriotic education demonstration bases" by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee.

The memorial hall is composed of two parts: the new one and the old one. The old one is Chongyi school, where Tao Xingzhi studied when he was young. It contains Tao Xingzhi's relics and the famous heritage couplet "come with one heart and go without half a root of grass".
Hall of admiration
As soon as you enter the gate, the magnificent and elegant hall with unique style will be displayed in front of you. On the big screen is Tao Xingzhi's four characters of "love all over the world". On the back of the screen is Comrade Jiang Zemin's inscription: "study Tao Xingzhi's educational thought and promote educational reform.". On the hall is a plaque inscribed by Song Qingling as "a model for all generations" and on the front is a gold lettered inscription of "Mr. Tao Xingzhi, the great people's educator" inscribed by Mao Zedong. It is elegant, vigorous and powerful. It is the reputation of Comrade Mao Zedong for Mr. Tao Xingzhi. In the middle, the green cypress and the green pine set off the bust of Tao Xingzhi. On the front two sacrificial pillars are engraved Tao Xingzhi's posthumous teachings written by Guo Moruo: "thousands of teachings, thousands of teachings, thousands of teachings, thousands of teachings, and thousands of learning to be a real person." Tao Xingzhi's famous sayings are carved on both sides of the screen.
The 2.6-meter-high statue of Tao Xingzhi stands in the center of the hall, showing the tall image of this great people's educator. His temperament is extraordinary, he has a bright face; he is philanthropic and purposeful, he is moral and professional; he is devoted to education, he never puts down his mind; he is brave and forward for the country and the people. The quality of white marble symbolizes his pure and noble personality. The rock shaped statue symbolizes his strong character of fearlessness and unyielding. Green pines and green cypresses imply that their words, virtues and deeds will last forever.

Exhibition Hall
Go north through the side door and enter the exhibition hall. The museum is divided into five exhibition halls. The first exhibition hall is downstairs, and the second and third exhibition halls are upstairs. The three exhibition halls show Tao Xingzhi's glorious life in seven periods: born in a rural poor family; after returning from studying in the United States, he stood in the forefront of the May 4th Movement; served as the editor in chief of new education magazine and the general director of China education improvement society to promote civilian education; paid the first attention to rural education; founded the "life is education", "society is school", "integration of teaching and doing", "little teacher system" and "teacher system" The education theory with the core of improving people's life by education became the standard bearer of the new education movement; actively supported the formation of the "Xin'an tour group" of Xin'an primary school to carry out the propaganda of Anti Japanese education throughout the country; actively participated in the anti civil war, anti hunger and democratic movement.
There is also a special exhibition hall, the fourth exhibition hall, which is Tao Xingzhi's dormitory when he was studying in Chongyi school. At that time, Tao Xingzhi wrote on the wall of the dormitory that "I am a Chinese and want to make some contributions to China". This exhibition hall maintains the style of that year.
The fifth exhibition hall is the painting and calligraphy hall, which displays a large number of books, manuscripts and paintings by Tao Xingzhi.
Opening ceremony
In order to commemorate the people's educator Tao Xingzhi, the Anhui provincial Party committee and government approved the construction of the Tao Xingzhi Memorial Hall in 1981 at the former site of Chongyi school, where Tao Xingzhi studied as a teenager in his hometown. It opened in 1984. Tao Xingzhi's students Liu Jiping, former Secretary of Anhui provincial Party committee and consultant of the Ministry of culture of China, and Wang Yuzhao, former governor of Anhui Province, cut the color. Li Shilong, former Secretary of the provincial Party committee, Zhang Kaifan, Wei Xinyi, vice governor of the provincial government, hang Wei, LV Xingwei, Duan Lipei, and Tao Xingzhi's relatives Wu Shuqin, Tao Xiaoguang, and Tao Cheng attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Saito Akio, a professor of Japanese Specialized University and an expert in ceramic research, came to congratulate him, saying that the opening of the Taoxingzhi Memorial in Anhui Province is of epoch-making significance.

There is a low mountain called Laoshan in Xiaozhuang, the northern suburb of Nanjing. Xingzhi garden is located at the foot of Laoshan. Xingzhi garden is located in the former site of Xiaozhuang Normal University founded by Tao Xingzhi. The garden was built in memory of Tao Xingzhi, a famous modern educator and patriotic scholar in China. The main scenic spots in the park include Tao Xingzhi memorial hall, Tao Xingzhi tomb, Xiaozhuang martyr monument, Xingzhi Pavilion, Yinglie Pavilion, adult Memorial forest, etc.
Tao Xingzhi memorial hall is the most important building in Xingzhi garden, located at No. 20, jixiang'an, Xiaozhuang village, outside the central gate. This is a memorial museum, which holds exhibitions of Tao Xingzhi's life all year round and is managed by Xiaozhuang Normal School. Tao Xingzhi memorial hall was built in 1951 when Xiaozhuang Normal School resumed. It was attached to the campus of Xiaozhuang Normal School. A number of photos, manuscripts, remains and relics of Tao were collected and preserved in the museum. In March 1980, the museum reopened after sorting out, displaying 120 photos and more than 200 relics. In 1985, the exhibition room of the memorial hall was expanded with an exhibition area of more than 400 square meters, enriching the contents of the exhibits, including 429 photos and 319 objects. In order to further carry forward the spirit of Xingzhi, inherit and carry forward the educational thought of Xingzhi, the memorial hall was moved out of the school in 1993, and a new hall was built at the foot of Laoshan Mountain, covering an area of 800 square meters. The roof is made of cement and imitates the thatch roof, which looks simple and dignified. The gate tower is 25 meters high. Above the gate are two bronze plaques: "Li Palace" inscribed by Zhang Jinfu and "Tao Xingzhi Museum" inscribed by Lu Dingyi. There is a bronze statue of Tao Xingzhi in the hall. The background is 13 gold characters of "great people's educator Mr. Tao Xingzhi" inscribed by Mao Zedong. There are two exhibition halls in the museum. The exhibition contents are divided into eight parts: youth period, education reform period, rural education period, universal education period, national disaster education to wartime education period, comprehensive education period, democratic education period, commemorating and learning Tao Xingzhi. The exhibition hall displays nearly 400 precious pictures and more than 200 pieces of Tao Xingzhi's posthumous works, relics and manuscripts, which truly and vividly reflect Tao Xingzhi's great and glorious life.
Tomb of Tao Xingzhi
The pottery tomb was built in December 1946, facing the southeast. There is a tombstone and memorial archway in front of the tomb. The stone is 2 meters high and engraved with Shen Junru's inscription - "Tomb of Mr. Tao Xingzhi". The archway is 5 meters high and 4 meters wide, with Tao Xingzhi's handwriting on the forehead: "love all over the world"; the couplet of the archway column is Tao Xingzhi's posthumous teaching written by Guo Moruo: "thousands of teaching, thousands of teaching, thousands of learning, thousands of learning, being a real person." In 1982, the pottery tomb was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit. In order to commemorate Tao Xingzhi and learn and carry forward his patriotism, in August 1993, Nanjing Municipal People's government decided to build the Xingzhi garden, renovate and afforest Tao Xingzhi's tomb area on a large scale, plant thousands of trees and flowers, lay more than 2000 square meters of lawn, and build a new Tao Xingzhi Memorial Hall on the northeast side of the tomb. On September 12, 1994, Xingzhi Park was completed and opened. On the marble wall on the south side of the gate of the garden are engraved three big characters of "Xingzhi garden" written by General Secretary Jiang Zemin, and on the marble wall on the north side of the gate are engraved 12 big characters of "come with a heart and go without half a root of grass" written by Tao Xingzhi. In 1997, the second phase of xingzhiyuan project started. A 7-meter-high monument to the revolutionary martyrs in Xiaozhuang was rebuilt, the pond was renovated, and the floor tiles were laid on the graveway and the square in front of the pottery museum.

On October 18, 1986, a memorial hall for Mr. Tao was built on the site where Mr. Tao Xingzhi founded the Shanhai engineering group. Hu Yaobang inscribed the name of the hall. In 2002, he moved to Xingzhi Park in Dahua area, Zhenhua Road, south of Dachang, Baoshan, covering an area of 3500 square meters and a construction area of 1600 square meters. It is composed of a group of buildings with Huizhou residential characteristics and Suzhou garden characteristics.
