Water curtain cave in Wuyishan

Wuyishan shuilian cave, formerly known as Tangyao cave, is located in the east of danxiazhang. It is the largest cave in Wuyishan and is known as "the most beautiful cave in the mountain". The wall of shuilian cave is tens of feet high and wide, protruding upward and concave downward, forming a cave. The cave is bright enough to hold thousands of people. Several temples without tiles are built on the cliff. The clear spring at the top of the mountain falls down and floats with the wind. It can be said that "the Red Cliff looks for a thousand sunny days and blows rain, and ten thousand pearls draw a curtain.".

Along the cliff, there are three temples dedicated to Liu Zihui, Zhu Xi and Liu Gong, three churches dedicated to Confucius, Lao Tzu and Sakyamuni, and three sites of Dongzhen temple in the Qing Dynasty. There are many cliff carvings on the cliff, and the word "living source" is the most famous.

You can enter huiyuankeng from furongyan at the intersection of Guilin in the north of the mountain, and then turn right from the oblique ridge beside the ticket booth to Shuiliandong. Or go up the mountain from Dahongpao.
