architectural composition
Jiangning zhizaofu covers an area of 18700 square meters and a construction area of 35600 square meters. There are four floors on the ground, including Xichi, Jianting, xuanruitang, youfenglaiyi and other garden buildings. There are Jiangning zhizaofu, Cao Xueqin memorial hall, dream of Red Mansions literature and historical materials hall and Yunjin Museum on the two underground floors.
The overall architecture of the museum is the landscape of Jiangnan garden. Looking from the south to the north, the buildings are piled up like a landscape painting. In the mansion, there are no modern buildings facing north, East and West.
Looking around from the outside, Jiangning zhizaofu looks like a modern museum. In the middle of the curtain wall, the eaves of two ancient pavilions protrude and enter by pushing the door. On the south side is an elegant Jiangnan garden, and on the north side is a prosperous building. In the north of Jiangning zhizaofu garden, there are four layers of pavilions and pavilions, which block the surrounding buildings, and there is no trace of modern urban architecture.
Besides trying to restore the original appearance, more details will embody the essence of a dream of Red Mansions. For example, a stalagmite is designed at the exit of the sunken square, which means "Qinggeng peak" at the beginning of the novel. The contents of couplets and plaques that tourists see when they visit the pavilions and pavilions are from the original work and written by famous contemporary Redology masters.
Jiangning weaving Museum. Through the glass door, you can see pavilions, small bridges, flowing water, corridors and waterside pavilions. Looking north from the garden on the south side of the museum, you can see that the building on the west side has four storeys of pavilions and pavilions, interspersed with four groups of representative buildings, such as "neem Pavilion", "xuanrui hall", "stage" and "youfenglaiyi hall". The tallest building is the "neem Pavilion" in the northwest corner, which is the landmark of the whole "Jiangning weaving mansion". It is located at the highest part of the whole building, with a height of more than 20 meters.
The museum will change its name from the original "Jiangning weaving Museum" to "Jiangning weaving Museum". Archaeology has proved that the location of the museum is Jiangning weaving Bureau, not the weaving house or weaving department, so it takes a broader name.
