Jia Taifu's former residence is the residence of Jia Yi in the Western Han Dynasty. It is located in taifuli, Taiping Street, Changsha City. It is about 200 meters away from Wuyi West Road in the north and only one Xiahe street away from Xiangjiang River in the west, less than 100 meters away. It is located in the west of ancient Changsha City in the Chu and Han Dynasties. Jia Yi's former residence, formerly known as Jia Taifu ancestral hall, was built in 1465. Now there is only one ancestral hall left. There is a well on the side of the lane in front of the temple. It is said that it was chiseled by Jia Yi and shaped like a pot. It is called Taifu well, also known as Changhuai well. It is named after Du Fu's poem "Changhuai Jiayi well is still alive".

Mawangdui is located on the southwest Bank of Liuyang River and the north side of Changliu highway in the eastern suburb of Changsha City. It was the cemetery of Ma Yin, king of Chu, and his family in the Five Dynasties, so it was named Ma WangDui. There are two tombs on the pile, which are shaped like saddles, also known as saddle pile.

There are three tombs of the Western Han Dynasty on the pile. Tomb No. 1 is located in the north of the eastern tomb, and the owner is Xin Zhui, the wife of tomb No. 2. Tomb No. 2 is located in the Western tomb, and the owner is the Prime Minister of Changsha king of the Western Han Dynasty, the Prime Minister of Changsha king of the Western Han Dynasty, the Prime Minister of the Western Han Dynasty? Hou Licang died in the second year of empress Lu (186 BC); Tomb No. 3 is located at the south end of tomb No. 1 of Dongzhong, and the owner of the tomb is? The son of Hou. From January 16 to April 28, 1972, tomb 1 was excavated by Hunan Provincial Museum in cooperation with the infrastructure project of Mawangdui sanatorium.

From November 1973 to 1974, No. 2 and No. 3 tombs were excavated. The three tombs are all rectangular vertical pits, which are composed of earth sealing, tomb passage, tomb pit and tomb chamber, and the direction is due north. The coffin was filled with 30-50 cm thick charcoal around and at the top of the coffin. The bottom and the outside of the charcoal layer were sealed with white plaster, and finally filled with Wuhua soil. The three tombs are all coffins with several weights. Tomb No. 2 was stolen, but the skeleton of tomb No. 3 remained. The body of tomb No.1 is well preserved, with light brown skin, moist and elastic, clear facial features, yellow and black hair, and 16 teeth in the mouth. It is identified as a female, aged about 50 years old, 1.54 meters tall and 34.3 kg in weight. After dissection, the deceased suffered from severe coronary heart disease, multiple gallstones and other diseases. There were 138 melon seeds in his stomach. When unearthed, there was a 20 cm deep colorless transparent liquid in the coffin.

Among the three tombs, the funerary objects of No. 1 and No. 3 tombs are well preserved. More than 2000 objects were unearthed from each of the two tombs, which can be divided into 10 categories: Silk calligraphy and paintings, bamboo slips, lacquerware, musical instruments, weapons, pottery, wooden figurines, silk fabrics, bamboo slips and others. There are five silk paintings, two of which are the pictures of soul rising to heaven, two of which are the pictures of travel guard of honor, and one of which is the picture of Qigong strengthening the body. They are bright in color and exquisite in techniques. There are more than 20 silk books, including the book of changes, Laozi (version a and version b), Warring States policy, astronomy, calendar, five elements, miscellaneous occupation and other books, with a total of more than 100000 words. In addition, there are two maps, the topographic map of Changsha state in the Western Han Dynasty and the map of the southern garrison. Some of these precious cultural relics are new materials that have never been seen before, and some of them are different from the handed down documents. There are 922 bamboo slips, including 190 bamboo slips and 10 wooden slips. The contents include "eight benefits" and "seven grandchildren (loss)", involving Huangdi, Pengzu and others, which may be related to the lost Huangdi Neijing. There are 500 pieces of lacquerware, most of which are made of wood with patterns and characters. There are more than 10 kinds of utensils in shape, such as Ding, box, pot, francium, plate, Yu, ear cup, ear cup box, Lian, Han, Ji, Zhe, spoon, dagger and screen. There are 8 musical instruments in total, including 2 pieces of zither, 2 pieces of Yu, 1 piece of Qixian Qin, 2 pieces of Xiao, 1 set of Yu temperament and 1 set of Yu temperament tube, with a total of 12 pieces. Among them, Qin, Xiao, Yu and Yu temperament are the first musical instruments and temperament discovered in the Western Han Dynasty. There are 38 weapons, such as spear, sword, bow, crossbow, arrow, arrow clothing, weapon rack, etc. There are 51 pieces of pottery. There are 266 wooden figurines. There are two categories of silk products, one is finished clothes, the other is unused fabrics, such as yarn, silk, Qi, brocade, etc., a total of 61 volumes. Silk has more than 20 colors. There are 98 bamboo groves, which contain clothing and silk goods, food, Chinese herbal medicine and other plants, model objects, etc. In addition, a set of bronzes, two sets of toiletries such as bronze mirrors and horny combs, a seal of "Xinzhui" and miscellaneous bamboo and wood wares were unearthed from the tomb. Among the artifacts left after the excavation of tomb No.2, the most important ones are the three seals: one is the jade seal, with the seal of "Li Cang" engraved in Yin, the other is the bronze seal, with the seal of "Li Cang" engraved in Yin? Hou Zhiyin and Changsha prime minister.
