Gumen mountain scenic spot is located in Yaojia market town of Wuhan Mulan Ecotourism Zone, with a total area of 6000 mu, about 65 km away from the central urban area of Wuhan. It is another new scenic spot developed after the construction of Mulan mountain, Mulan Lake and Mulan Tianchi. The planning area of this area is about 5000 mu, which is a typical landscape stone forest scenic spot. The scenic area is characterized by a forest of chaotic rocks, a long river winding with green hills on both sides, a deep valley with a hundred birds singing harmoniously, a flying stream straight down, a hundred feet of water flowing down, and a lake full of egrets. It's the best place to view the stone scenery, wade through the water and explore the canyon.

Gumen mountain scenic spot is located in Yaojia market town of Mulan Ecotourism Zone in Wuhan. Gumen mountain is the highest mountain in Wuhan with a total area of 6600 mu, about 75 km away from the central urban area of Wuhan. It is another new scenic spot developed in 2003 after the construction of Mulan mountain, Mulan Lake and Mulan Tianchi.

Gumen lake is located in the West foot of gumen, with a surface area of about 800 Mu and a water capacity of 3 million cubic meters. Its water quality exceeds the national first-class standard. In the lake, there is the special dish "gumen diaozi fish", which is tender and delicious. It is a rare delicacy. The lake has a tortuous coastline and numerous peninsulas. The largest peninsulas covers an area of about 200 mu. There are four-star villas on the peninsulas. The environment is beautiful, with birds singing and flowers fragrant. "Stone forest" is the most characteristic landscape of gumen mountain scenic area. The main landscape types are stone wall, stone rock, stone cave, stone group, stone waterfall, etc. In addition, there are pictographs with different characteristics.

There are more than ten waterfalls in gumen mountain scenic area, which are mainly distributed in Shuanglong valley. The longest waterfall is about 100 meters, and the highest waterfall is about 50 meters high. The "Double Dragon Valley" in gumen mountain is 2500 meters long, mainly composed of Baizhang waterfall, Tianhe and Tiantan.

Transportation information: 1. Before 9:00 a.m. every Saturday, there is a bus from Hankou Wuhan port to gumenshan scenic area, and it will return around 16:30 p.m. every day; the round-trip fare is about 30 yuan. 2. Before 9:00 a.m. every Saturday, the bus departs from Lijiang hotel of Hongshan Square in Wuchang and goes directly to gumenshan scenic area. Every day, the bus returns at about 16:30 p.m. and the round-trip fare is about 30 yuan. Self driving: go to Daihuang expressway through Zhuye mountain turntable in Hankou, and then go to Dawu direction through Huangpi shanghuangtu line. On the way, you have to go through Mulan mountain fork and Mulan Tianchi fork. Go straight along the line for about 5 minutes, turn left over Yaoji bridge, and take yaocai highway for about 5 minutes. Turn right at the sign to reach the scenic spot.
