It is the largest holy land of yellow religion in Xinjiang. It is located in the north of Hejing County, 130km away from Korla City and accessible by national highway 218. Huang Temple was built in 1888, and was named Yongan Temple by Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty. The Yellow temple is located in the center, and the other 14 temples are well arranged and facing south. The Baluntai River, hidden in the dense forest of the valley, flows from the front of the temples like a paradise.
Due to the disrepair and the devastating destruction during the cultural revolution, the whole temple group was almost razed to the ground. Now there are only huangmiao temple, Kejin temple, pagoda and manhanwangfu. Since 1984, master Panchen Lama and living Buddha Shengqin have come to the Yellow Temple several times to praise the mountain, water and temple for their aura. As a result, the Yellow temple has added a magical aura to people's mind. The 15th of the first month of every year is the peak period of incense.

Historical evolution
It was first built in the reign of Emperor Qianlong and completed in the 14th year of Guangxu. Craftsmen were invited from Inner Mongolia and Tibet to build the temple. They spent 500 taels of gold. For more than 100 years, it has been the pilgrimage holy land of turhute and Heshuote lamas, and one of the four Lamaism temples in Xinjiang. Huangmiao building complex consists of 27 temples, stretching 2.5 km from east to west.
Huangmiao is the main building. The structure of the whole building is rigorous and the hall is high. Together with 14 temples, such as kejinkure, it forms a majestic ancient building complex of Lama Temple, covering an area of 24000 square meters. The existing huangmiao, kejinkure, gaiganlawulung and other halls are still intact. It was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in 1987. There are many precious scriptures and rare cultural relics in the Yellow temple. In the center of the hall, there is a huge golden statue of medel Buddha. There are many bronze statues of Maitreya Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva and so on in the East and West rear halls. On the four walls of the hall, there are statues of Dafa, which are vivid and exquisite. Thirteen religious murals are painted in the temple. Although they have been eroded, their original works can still be seen. The pilgrims to Yujing come in an endless stream every day, and the incense is very popular. Every religious festival is even more lively. Baluntaigou is not only a religious holy land, but also a natural forest park. In the Green Valley more than 20 kilometers long from east to west, willow trees are lush, strange peaks and rocks stand in the sky, and the mountains and springs are vast and ethereal. The average temperature in midsummer is about 20 degrees, warm in winter and cool in summer. The simple and kind folk customs of turhute Mongolian make you even more intoxicated.
